Recognising and rewarding excellence in all aspects of business practice, the Awards in their second year, will reward the talent and expertise of those in the industry that make the big day the best it can be.
My wee company, Plans and Presents has been shortlisted in the Wedding Co-ordinator category for the South – West Region.
I will find out if I will be crowned winner of my region at the glamorous ceremony being held in Glasgow.
I am also in the running to take away the prize for overall winner of the Wedding – Co-ordinator category should I win the regional title.
“Being nominated is quite strange experience for me as I am used to being on the other side.”
“With being a Judge for the Wedding Ideas Awards for the last 2 years, and a forthcoming Judge for the Bridal Buyer Awards I am used to celebrating other peoples successes rather than my own.”
“I try to do my best every day whether that is with couples I work with, or through the advice, ideas and information I share on my Wedding Blog, and to get this recognition of my work is really special!”
With a public voting system, the Scottish Wedding Awards is very much a celebration of local talent.
Winners are a true reflection of quality and customer service as chosen by members of the general public.
To enter the competition, dress makers, florists, photographers, caterers, and others throughout Scotland have been nominated by devoted clients that have experienced exceptional service.
Nominations have come in from far and wide for an event which is destined to be a sparkling evening in the Scottish event calendar.
The awards which will be taking place on 25th February 2014 at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow promises to be a glittering affair with a guests attending to support the industry which makes our wedding days the best they can be.
Hosting this glamorous affair will be Scottish radio personality Gina Mckie.
The official charity partner for this year’s event is the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, with donations raised on the night going straight to the charity.
Make-A-Wish Foundation UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.
Since being established in the UK in 1986, they have granted over 7,800 wishes.
Thanks for all your support and watch this space!
