The 2014 Opulence collection from Madeline Isaac-James will premiere at the prestigious White Gallery from May 19-21 at Battersea Park in London, and today I am delighted to preview the inspiration behind it.
Madeline Isaac James is a bridal design company owned by renowned designer Natalie Gladman
Natalie designs exquisite, beautiful, unique and elegant gowns, with an emphasis on excellent style and cut using fabrics such as lace, silk chiffons, taffeta, organza, satin, charmeuse silk and Swarovski crystals.
Designer Natalie has drawn inspiration from the early 1930’s, a favourite era for the Madeline Isaac-James bride, using elegant detailing, exquisite fabrics, and the perfect fit for which she is renowned.
Sensuous and sophisticated, this collection appeals both to the bride who seeks vintage style and to the modern bride seeking something a little different.
Signature details include flutter sleeves, silky, form-fitting silhouettes and capelet-style shapes with keyhole necklines and back detailing.
The use of sheer panelling, cutwork embellishments and fine fabrics from silk charmeuse to silk organza and tulle make this Natalie’s most daring collection yet.
The classic bride will find a gown to indulge her tastes with stunning full-skirted dresses with nipped-in waists and detailed bodices, often using the finest lace, and cute tea-length dresses in fit and flare styles with beautiful crystal details.
With prices ranging from just £1,499 to £2,100, this inspirational collection has everything to offer and, with the much loved ‘dressing up box’, a brilliant selection full of different elements, it is easy to create a completely individual Madeline Isaac-James look.
The 2014 Opulence Collection marks the start of a successful re-branding for Madeline Isaac-James – with more exciting and unusual gowns (remaining true however to the label’s signature style) combined with exciting new images that truly reflect the quality, innovation and excitement that surrounds the Madeline Isaac-James brand.
The 2014 Opulence Collection is available from premier stockist, No.10 Bridal in Farnham Surrey (who carry the entire range) as well as selected boutiques across the country.
Featured Gown is the “Naomi Dress” – A percentage of sales from the ‘Naomi’ gown, an elegant silk shantung gown with lace accents (named after the founder of the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation, Naomi Thomas) will be donated to the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation.
