Today I am a wee bit proud. Never in a million years did I think I would get such an honour bestowed on me but I did, and I feel very blessed.
In a period when I was experiencing one of the most challenging and scary times of my life, the call to be a Judge at the Wedding Idea’s Awards was a much needed boost and I feel extreme gratitude to have been asked.
Being previously shortlisted for one of their Awards was amazing enough but this goes to all realms of fantastic.
And for the Herd to have the trust and faith in me to ask made me feel so special, and I want to say a huge Thank You!
Wedding Ideas Magazine isn’t the UK’s best-selling monthly bridal mini-mag for nothing… Unique to the market, it is jam-packed with practical, down-to-earth and sisterly advice.
It’s stylish, understanding and warm. Like the bride to be’s companion guide to everything ‘wedding’ it is like a chief bridesmaid and big sister all rolled into one neat package which can be tucked into a handbag…and taken anywhere.
The Voting for the 2013 Wedding Ideas Awards opened today and for the next few weeks people will have the chance to nominate Businesses large and small that have provided outstanding service within the Wedding Industry.
Then with my fellow Judges I get to help whittle down the final few to be the Winners of these incredible awards.
I am sure its going to be a super hard job, the talent in the U.K Wedding Industry is astounding but I look forward to seeing the all the submissions and selecting the cream of the crop.
So now for me its a few weeks to go until the it comes to the Shortlist so I will take this time to focus on my Awards related trauma…Finding the Dress !
The Awards will take place on 11th January 2013 at the Tower Hotel, London and me and the Mr will be making our annual pilgrimage to the Big Smoke.
It will be my chance to celebrate with the Industry’s finest with the added bonus I get to see all my friends and have a lovely catch up.
And myself and MrPandP also get the chance of some much needed rest and time out.
So make a difference and get Voting. Have your say in the UK’s biggest consumer Wedding Awards.
