Good Morning, and welcome to Mrs P and P’s Sunday Cuppa Wedding Blog Catch Up.
On the first Sunday of March and as we launch full on into Spring, I want to re – visit the fabulousness that has adorned the pages of the Blog this week.
On Monday we jumped straight into the week with a gorgeous Autumnal Wedding of Graeme and Clare captured beautifully by Gary Bonar Photography.
I love Autumn and its golden and fiery hues, and the changing of the season and it lends itself to some stunning imagery.
I also love the couples blend of dark blue and the orange colour palletes and though on first thought you may think that the colours may not blend they really are a stunning combination.
From the stunning orange teardrop bouquet through to the simple yet striking table centrepieces, balanced by sharp suits, gorgeous Bridesmaid dresses and table accentuation in midnight blue…so so pretty!
On Tuesday it was all about Rustic inspiration.
To begin a day of inspiration I was thrilled to introduce Sarah Want who creates beautiful whimsical and rustic wedding stationery.
My affection for the countryside is somewhat compelling at times, and dreams of rustic Venues fill my dreams so to kick off Tuesday afternoon I shared some Rustic Wedding Inspiration in a Moodboard.
As well as some decor ideas, I added some beautiful products for your Rustic Wedding from UK Wedding suppliers.
I was thrilled to showcase the work of Blue Ribbon Design, a company passionate about creating bespoke and beautiful solid oak items for special occasions and events.
Run by Clare, Blue Ribbon Design is all about rustic styling whether thats products for Events – table plans, top table decorations, name place settings, favours and wedding party gifts or homewares.
On Wednesday it gave me great pleasure to share a peek at what went on at the LHG Designs Designer Wedding Accessories day on Sunday 17th February within the stunning boutique of Anais Bridal Couture.
The idea behind the Designer Day was that so that designer Louise could be on hand to offer brides and bridesmaids advice on choosing the right accessories for their dress and hairstyle.
This event saw make-up artists, hairdressers, and Karen, the owner of the Boutique, and of course all LHG Designs accessories within the styling clinic.
On Thursday I brought together a Wedding Advice article on Money Saving Marriage.
I was approached by Money Supermarket to bring together some tips on how to save money on your Big Day.
Weddings and celebrations can be an expensive business, but there are many ways where you can cut some cost, without comprimising on quality or style.
On Friday it was all about the Pre Wedding and about the Brides experience as a “Hen”.
If you want something a little different for your pre wedding celebration and require Bespoke Hen packages that will include absolutely “everything” you want then Couture Hens may be what you are looking for.
Grown from the concept that “Every hen is different” they want to change the image of the Hen Do, and act as your personal Mother Hen to achieve this.
Saturday was a busy day with my attendance at the Edinburgh Wedding Fair and I was delighted to share a report.
I was so privileged to meet some old friends and make some fabulous new connections and contacts which is always great for the Brides and Grooms that I work with.
I hope you savoured your Cuppa, and this round up of the Week on the MrsPandP.com Sunday Cuppa (Wedding Blog Catch Up).
I look forward to sharing many more lazy Sunday Mornings with you.
Love Mrs P and P xxx
