MrsPandP’s Sunday Cuppa (Wedding Blog Catch Up)

Good Morning, and welcome to MrsPandP’s Sunday Cuppa Wedding Blog Catch Up.

On the second Sunday of March and in a week that has been jolly unspring like, I want to re – visit the fabulousness that has adorned the pages of the Blog this week.

It always makes me really happy when a New Sponsor becomes part of the Plans and Presents family so on Monday morning I was just thrilled to welcome Helen from Sugar Plum Cottage.

Sugar Plum Cottage was the realisation of a childhood dream, selling beautiful gifts for the home, people and Weddings, that reflect a love of fairies, ballet, romance and all things ‘country cottage pretty’.

Combine this with an absolute love of dogs it seemed a natural combination to sell gorgeous dog accessories for other people who love their dogs as much as they do.

On Monday afternoon I had great pleasure in sharing the very stylish Scottish Wedding of Joanne and Anthony, sprinkled with wee hint of monochrome Hollywood Glamour.

Images of the day were captured by Kilmarnock based Wedding and Portrait Photographer Tom Cairns.

Jo & Anthony being a seriously cool couple, had decided on a black & white Hollywood theme, and to that end family and friends had come in from all over the UK and were suitably and very stylishly attired.

The whole day went fantastically well, with their daughters Eva and Amelie taking a starring role alongside their mum and dad.

On Tuesday we went undercover. Sometimes slipping on something a wee bit special under your clothes can make you feel amazing, and Bespoke Bridal knickers and garters from Just for Eve are beautiful.
Just For Eve is a couture brand who pride them selves on making beautiful timeless pieces.

For a bride wanting something vintage or traditional to the modern and contemporary their accessories are created to be stunning, unique worthy additions to any brides attire – memories of a special day and a reminder Brides will want to keep forever.

They design using the finest silk, ribbon’s, lace’s, tulle’s and vintage accessories.

Love is such a beautiful thing, and taking on the world and all its adventures as a couple is so exciting, so on Tuesday afternoon I shared a fun, snowy Couples Shoot that celebrated that bond.
On a freezing cold January day Katie Byram met Amanda and Beth  for a Couples Shoot at Jesmond Dene House which is situated within the lovely grounds of Jesmond Dene, Newcastle.
Amanda & Beth wanted to capture some relaxed photographs of them together,  showing their personalities and just having a fun afternoon out in the snow.
On Wednesday it was all about delicious edible art.
The belief that every bride deserves a princess moment, is the inspiration behind top London cake designer Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium launch of their Majestic 2013 collection of wedding cakes.
With the images shot at Blenheim Palace and the Chattam Dockyards (where Skyfall and Les Miserables were filmed), designs range from the Marie Antoinette, the ultimate queen of excess,  to the more contemporary Travel Queen.
Each cake has been intricately crafted to match every bride’s inner princess style.

On Thursday it was ll about the fancy footwork.

There also tends to be a lot of pressure today for the first dance to be smooth and choreographed.

Trodden toes can be part of the day but to avoid this you can take a class to improve your fancy footwork or release that hidden talent thats been bubbling below the surface.

Wedding Day Dance UK provides dance lessons for a couples first dance and have now launched a 6 week course of online wedding dance tutorials, which are absolutely free!

The complimentary tutorials cover many aspects of a couple’s first dance, including how to choose a first dance song and how to avoid first dance disasters!

The lessons are designed by professional wedding dance experts and aimed at beginners.

The tutorials are delivered directly to inboxes, teaching couples lessons such as the secrets of a confident first dance and how to enhance their first dance.

On Friday I was thrilled to welcome back Sponsor Moonrise Lingerie to give some advice of what type of Bridal Lingerie would be best to accompany your beautiful Wedding Gown.

Choosing your wedding underwear can almost be as difficult as looking for the dress itself, and now with many modern wedding dress styles having open neck lines and off the shoulder designs exposing the shoulders, it leaves many brides searching for a strapless lingerie solution.

To elegantly round off the week it was my great pleasure to share a beautiful Scottish Wedding with some vintage inspired touches captured last Summer by Gi Gi Capture.

The wedding took place in the amazing Old Kirk, Kilearnan on the outskirts of Inverness…Then it was off to the Spa Pavilion in the Victorian town Strathpeffer for the lovely reception.

I hope you savoured your Cuppa, and this round up of the Week on the Sunday Cuppa (Wedding Blog Catch Up).

I  look forward to sharing many more lazy Sunday Mornings with you.
