Good Morning, and welcome to MrsPandPs Sunday Morning Cuppa Wedding Blog Catch up.
Today I want to share a whole load of pretty as we look back on the fabulous features of this past week.
On Monday I was excited to share a gorgeous Finnish Wedding with a beautiful blue colour palette where ice and snow, and the wonder of nature made the most beautiful of backdrops.
Photographer Sarah travelled to Levi with Adam, Laura and their family and friends to capture their wedding in Finland.
Their wedding took place in The Luvattumaa Levi Ice Chapel.
The sculptures, lighting and the attention to detail inside the Chapel are incredible, a perfect setting for a wedding.
She says..“Adam and Laura’s Wedding was expertly coordinated by Rue from Sun & Snow Weddings.”
“It was -20, and as the snow fell it looked like glitter falling from the sky… so romantic.”
Images were captured by Sarah Jewell Ph0tography.
On Tuesday I was thrilled to spotlight on Anna’s Bakes, creator of bespoke, unique, naked wedding cakes, perfect for your special occasion or Wedding.
With layer upon layer of brownie or blondie with fresh whipped cream or marshmallow, its a taste that dreams are made of, and the dieters very worst nightmare.
On Wednesday morning I was delighted to share this gorgeous railway and 1940s inspired Engagement shoot.
Loughbrough Grand Central Station was the setting for the shoot and images were captured by Lumiere Photography.
The couple in this shoot are Meetal and Dee, and photographer Alix was thrilled when they announced they wanted to do a 1940s inspired Engagement shoot as its an amazing era.
“The Great Central Railway is the UK’s only double track, main line heritage railway, and is the only place in the world where full size steam engines can be seen passing each other – just as it was when steam ruled the rails.
So this made it the perfect location to make new history in a place with such a strong historical background.
On Wednesday afternoon I was delighted to spotlight on Daalarna Couture, a Hungarian based fashion house and their PEARL Wedding Gown collection which shall soon premiere at London Couture Fashion Week.
Gripping figures, alluring fabrics and passionate tones of colour characterise her creations.
Her main profile includes evening garments and wedding dresses, however, her philosophy goes far beyond simple aristocratic concepts.

On Thursday I was thrilled to feature this gorgeous, grand tradition rich Polish Palace Wedding with an ivory & pink palette.
Images of the day were captured by Jolly Day Photography.
If someone’s wedding can be called ‘perfect’ or ‘luxury’, it is Alexandra & Martin’s palace wedding.
At the very beginning of planning every idea and detail was solidified in their minds with the wooden church, palace venue and with the ice candlestick as beautiful decoration.
Its something that has always intrigued me.. what exactly is the “Alternative Wedding”
A wee trot around the internet kind of rounded it up as non traditional, quirky, creative and about the independant couple.
Recently I have seen lots of social media from wedding suppliers “looking” for these so called alternative Weddings or couples.
The Wedding Industry kind of gets a little bit obsessed with being different all the time which is good in a way as keeping an open and creative mind is great but not to the detriment of those wanting something a wee bit more traditional.
Being your own alternative makes it the most unique Wedding it can be.
On Saturday I was delighted to share this simple, elegant Glasgow Wedding at The Glasshouse where the focus was on family, fun, laughter.
Images of the day were captured by Ross Walker of Number94 Photography.
The Bride and Groom try to live by the KISS principle (keep it simple stupid) so their wedding planning was no different.
They knew exactly where they wanted to get married which helped to get the ball rolling, and were also very fortunate to know people that deal with weddings.
I hope you savoured your Cuppa, and this round up of the Week on the Wedding Blog Catch Up.
I look forward to sharing many more lazy Sunday Mornings with you.
