Mrs P and P’s Sunday Morning Cuppa

Good Morning, and welcome to Mrs P and P’s Sunday Morning Cuppa.

Its been kind of a difficult week here at P and P Towers, but one thing about me is that you won’t get me down for long.

My kind of philosophy of life is that it can batter you down, but you never EVER let it win.

You come back bigger and stronger and show the world what you are made of.

Of course you need support along the way, and I value each person that has taken time to be there for me this week, and in the past.

The focus was firmly on Scotland this week, with St Andrews day, and I was really honoured to show off some Scottish Suppliers, Scottish Photographers and some fabulous Tartan Style.

To kick off the week we had some exciting news – The  next Big Fat Scottish Tweet Up is planned for Spring and its going to be an epic affair.

Theming has finally been decided and its going to go off !

I also welcomed a new Sponsor to the Plans and Presents fold with the addition of Yvonne Cassells of Angelfins.

On Monday I was also loving a Tartan Wedding Ring Pillow exclusively available to purchase through Not On the High Street Wedding by With Love P.J Topley

On Tuesday I posted a beautiful Real Wedding Feature from the lens of Stuart Craig Photography which was just elegant to the max.

I was also feeling some shoe envy for these stunning examples of foot couture, tartan Wedding shoes by the Scotland Shop.

On Wednesday my thoughts turned to beautiful words. An intergral part of our heritage is Rabbie Burns, his offering to our country through his poetry will forever be remembered.

Turning from Rabbie to another Poet, I shared a poem written by Amy of I Want a Poem about Plans and Presents.

I am incredibly touched that someone could write such amazing words about me.

I also shared some lovely little baby and child Kilts that would look fabulous on any little person on your Big Day. It always melts my heart to see little ones in Tartan at a Wedding.

On Thursday I highlighted the wonderful new avenue that my Sponsor Wedding and Baby will be taking in the New Year.

In March 2012, she will launch a sister site called LHG Designs focusing more on everyday jewellery in addition to her Bridal designs.

That afternoon I featured a great new product from the marvellous Kay at Wrapor.

She specialises in beautiful Bridal shrugs and Wraps and for a recent Bride she created an incredible Tartan shrug to match the tartan in her Wedding Gown…beautiful!

Due to technical difficulties once again on Friday there was no post.

On Saturday I was thrilled to share a fabulous Glasgow Engagement Shoot with industrial aspects sprinkled with a bit of coffee shop goodness from the lens of Zoe Campbell Photography.

I  look forward to sharing many more lazy Sunday Mornings with you.
