Today I am thrilled to share a beautiful Cornish Winery Wedding with stunning blush pink detail at Knightor Winery.

The couple are Natalie and Jake who celebrated their wonderful summer wedding day last August.

How did you meet?

We first met at our local tennis club.

Tell us about the Proposal…

I proposed on Nats birthday during lockdown 2020 as I thought I’d give us something to look forward to in 2021.

I proposed at home as I wanted it to be a private moment between the two of us.

I wrote a personal poem and recited it as I went down on one knee.

Tell us about your wedding planning journey…

We found it stressful like any wedding but  magnified by 10 due to Covid!

What was the colour palette of your Big Day?

We chose Blush pink for the wedding styling and details.

Any special touches?

We made all the centrepieces involving artificial flowers ourselves, sweet jars and our welcome sign was made by Nat’s brother.

Did Covid have any impact on your Wedding Planning?

Yes, there was a lot of uncertainty as to whether our wedding would have any restrictions!

Lucky for us, we had the day we’d hope for without restrictions!!

Nat’s dress shopping experience was sadly the most impacted as all the shops were shut until April, which only gave her a 4 month window.

She also had to try all her dresses on whilst wearing a mask…not exactly what you dream about!

What was the best bit of your day?

We loved he night time party because we hadn’t been dancing in so long! Everyone went mad!

Is there anything you would do differently?

No, it was just as we’d hoped and was a silver lining in an otherwise dark year.

What advice would you give to other couples getting married?

Savour every moment coz it’s over before you know it and it’s the best day of your life!
