Today I am thrilled to share this beautiful Cotswolds winter wedding with elements of Art Deco, American Football and navy and gold.
Images were captured by Sheryl of Oobaloos Photography.
Sheryl is based in Gloucestershire but covering all over the UK.
She has had a passion for art from a young age and with that creative flow came a career in Performing Arts.
As she grew older her creativity naturally swayed over to imagery and now to harness she harnesses her vibrant personality into her work to create dynamic, emotional and fun portraiture.

From the minute we got engaged, I knew I wanted a winter wedding. What better colours than navy and gold for that time of year.
The colour scheme was chosen to bring elements of Art Deco along with a black tie/ball style theme. FULL ON GLAM.
Having Matara as our venue made it extremely easy to make the ceremony and reception beautiful, before we had even set up!
Each element of the wedding was planned to the letter including the balance of colour with centre pieces and place settings.
Both elements were tied into our cake by the wonderful Rebecca at The Cotswold Cake Bee which was everything I dreamed of.
My dress ’Felicity’ was from Vivienne Stella Bridal Gallery, Gloucester and was really beautiful.
As a plus size bride, finding the perfect dress is tricky but this A line with lace ’dripping’, off the shoulder dress was perfect! Paired with bling belt and headpiece to tie in the art deco sparkle!
It all worked really well with my Nike trainers I had found! My shoes were always going to be trainers! For anyone who knows me!!
My look was finished by Leanne’s Cotswold Wedding Hair & Makeups masterpiece that was my face and hair!
From someone who never wears makeup or ever had her hair out of a pony tail, Leanne made me better version of myself! Lashes were already in place thanks to Lucy at Lashes By LucyB.
But of course, it wasn’t Ash and I who stole the show. That would be our 4 year old Lurcher X Collie and Ringbearer: CODY.
From getting ready, to the speeches, Cody had heads turning. In his matching bow tie, he looked dashing with his ’built in’ dinner jacket and shirt!
He was the ultimate: guest greeter, hand warmer, ring bearer, bride and groom leader, floor warmer and general bundle of love and cuddles.
Any special touches?
We chose Disney theme music through ceremony and wedding breakfast as we love that.
All the Bridal, bridesmaid and flower girl bouquets were homemade by me from faux flowers as keepsakes with MOB, MOG, Groom and grooms men button holes all homemade too.
What was the colour palette of your Big Day?
We chose a palette of Navy and Gold.
What was the best bit of your day?
Being able to share it with our friends and family.
Is there anything you would do differently?
Stop to take it in more, the day flew by.
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
The day is about you two, so make it yours!
