A beautiful Rail Museum Wedding in Queensland with a pretty pink & white palette

Today I am thrilled to share this beautiful Rail Museum Wedding in Queensland with a pretty pink & white palette.

Images were captured by Just for Love Photography.

Kylie Maree is an international wedding photographer, living in Brisbane, Australia with her partner, Nick.

Since the inception of her business, Kylie has photographed countless weddings, travelled the world to document love, made memories to last a lifetime and fearlessly chased her dreams.

For the first time since she was a little girl, she is dreaming without boundaries, letting imagination steer the direction of her life and is fiercely proud of what she is creating.

Kylie photographs weddings in a romantic, free & relaxed style and ensures that your first day as husband and wife is documented perfectly, so you can look back at it for the rest of your life.

Kylie says of the couple and their Big Day…

“After years in this industry, I can honestly say that Damian & Jacqueline’s wedding day was unlike anything I have ever experienced before!”

“Firstly, they decided to hold their Wedding Reception in a train museum (a total first for me!).”

“I love that my couples are brave when they are planning their Wedding Day – they aren’t afraid of planning a day as unique as they are, which is why I celebrated with them when they told me where they wanted to hold it and why!”

“You see, Damian LOVES trains.”

“From the first moment we met, I could see how his eyes lit up and his face glowed when he talked about two things… the love of his life Jacqueline – and his other love, trains!”

“Secondly, these two lovebirds had told me in the leadup to their Wedding Day, that they had planned a firework exit.”

“You guys, FIREWORKS! To say I was excited was a little bit of an understatement…”

“The gorgeous bride to be was getting ready with her closest girlfriends on the morning of her Wedding Day…”

“From the moment I walked into the room – I could smell her incredible florals and feel the quiet excitement in the air.”

“The excitement that comes when my brides get to see all their planning come together… there really is nothing like it!”

“Everyone’s glasses were topped with bubbles, and as the time for Jacqueline to put her Wedding Dress on got closer and closer… there was so much joy!”

“Their Wedding Ceremony was held at St Paul’s Anglican Church in Ipswich.”

“The church was pretty impressive (and had an upstairs balcony for us to use for a different perspective during the Ceremony – which is something I love when photographing in a church).”

“Afterwards, we made our way to the Ipswich Rail Museum for their Bridal Portraits and later that evening, their Wedding Reception.”

“This venue was fantastic and allowed us free reign to take photos anywhere on the grounds, even using some of the old trains as a prop (you can imagine the smile on Damian’s face when it came time to take these photos!)”

“We also took some beautiful portraits out by the old buildings on site, using the afternoon glow to add to the beauty of the photos! I must admit, I had a bit of a crush on this massive green door…”

“As the afternoon sun started to set, the time came for Damian & Jacqueline to rejoin their friends and family – to celebrate the joy & happiness that was their Wedding Day!”

“The candles were lit, the finishing touches were put on the tables and their guests embraced them as husband and wife, Mr & Mrs Jones.”

“Isn’t that their cake topper the cutest you’ve ever seen!! I just loved that it included their whole family – furbabies and all!”

“There were speeches, dancing – and a whole lot of memories made that night!”

“Renee, my assistant & I were able to sneak the newlyweds out for a romantic sparkler photo too, something that I adore doing if the opportunity arises.”

“A huge thanks to Renee for being the one to run around these guys with the sparkler and keep such a perfectly balanced line of light.”

“As the night slowly came to an end, it was time to surprise their guests with their firework exit!”

“Being the first time I had photographed fireworks, I also was a little nervous – there’s no second chances if you don’t get the first shot right you know?!”

“Luckily, I did alright… and it was the most beautiful end to a beautiful day!”

Thank you so much to Kylie for sharing this stunning rail museum wedding.

Love the balance between the soft pink bridal look and the sharpness of the train machinery.

There is an air too of vintage romance with the old trains harking back to the days of classic Hollywood movies, just beautiful.
