Today I am thrilled to share this beautiful rustic inspired Hertfordshire Wedding with hints of pink & blue at Hexton Manor.
Natalie and Paul took their vows by the lake in the wonderful surrounds of nature before their marquee reception in a stunning walled garden.
Images were captured by Sarah Elliott Photography.
Sarah Elliott is based in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire, but loves to travel!
She photographs weddings all over the UK including Buckinghamshire, Essex, Surrey, Kent and Berkshire and her approach to photography is relaxed, stylish and fun.
She says of the couples day…
“Natalie and her bridesmaids got ready at a beautiful suite at Luton Hoo, a manor house in Hertfordshire.”
“She wore the most beautiful white strapless dress and a pretty pair of blue heels for a pop of colour.”
“The bouquets were wildflowers in pastel tones and worked perfectly with the baby blue bridesmaid dresses.”
“The ceremony took place on a warm August day at Hexton Manor, a stylish house in Hitchin.”
“Due to the fantastic weather, Paul and Natalie were able to get married outside by the lake.”
“The bridal party made their entrance from the other side of the lake over a rustic wooden bridge…what a magical moment.”
“After the ceremony we proceeded to make the most of the fantastic scenery and took photos of the couple around the lake.”
“The reception following this was held in a marquee in the walled gardens.”
“The tables were adorned with wildflowers in vintage china jugs and floral chandeliers hung from the ceiling.”
“The pretty place names were rustic wooden letters and guests received miniature Prosecco bottles as favours…perfect for the speeches!”
“As the sun began to set we went outside to photograph the couple in Hexton Manor’s fantastic walled gardens.”
“The light is just perfect at this time of day and it’s by far my favourite time to shoot.”
“As the band started, I captured the couple privately dancing together. I love documenting moments like this as they always feel a lot more genuine.”
“A beautiful day turned into a wonderful evening as the couple brave the dance floor for their first dance.”
“The room looked fantastic with it’s black and white chequered floor and twinkly fairy lights in the ceiling.”
“I left the couple and their guests dancing the night away…it looked like it was going to be a great party!”
Thank you so much to Sarah for sharing this wonderful rustic inspired Hertfordshire Wedding.
The pink and blue colour palette blends beautifully with the country surroundings and the delicate hue of the bridesmaids gowns is just so pretty.
Love the rustic touches like burlap signs and table names and the wildflowers in bouquets, centrepieces and hanging installations is just perfection.
Love too the pretty wooden names as place settings, and little prosecco bottles as favours, always a guest winner.
The naked Wedding cake is absolutely wow inducing all adding up to make this a very special and personal celebration.
