A beautiful Surrey Wedding at the Warren Lodge Hotel with pretty teal details

Today I am delighted to share this beautiful Surrey Wedding at the Warren Lodge Hotel with pretty teal details.

Images were captured by Stephanie of Summers Photography

Summers Photography is a photographic company based in Berkshire and is owned by Stephanie Cronin.

The company is diverse in its set up. One half is weddings and portraits; where the other half is photographic training.

Stephanie says “Photography and the media is in the bloodline. Both my Grandfather and my Father worked in newspapers and I started my photography career work experience in The Glasgow Herald in 1999.”

“At the age of 14 I won my first photography competition, and by the time I was a teen I had polaroids, a Pentax electronic zoom and many a film SLR handed down.”

“Fast forward to 18 and I worked in photography developing stores, portrait studios and developed at working my own business from 2000 to date.”

“My style of photography is beautiful, timeless and vibrant, alongside this I capture gorgeous, colourful and real portraits of your family, and provide relaxed, informative and fun training courses to develop your photographic skills.”

Stephanie shares her recollections of the couple and their day…

“It is so lovely when we photograph a wedding of people that are already friends.”

“Natalie and I worked together at Heathrow Airport and stayed in touch some 6 years later.”

“I was thrilled when she told me she was getting married and was so pleased that she asked Steve and I to document their special day.”

“Natalie and Ron were married at the Weybridge Registry Office and went to Warren Lodge Hotel for their reception in beautiful Church Square, Shepperton.”

“They had the most perfect weather for the day and all of that time spent on planning, brought the whole event together.2

“They both have a keen eye for detail and those little aspects really showed personalities – even to the favours on the tables.”

“The stars of the show were really the little ones, who narrated the whole day at different points and were a credit to Nat and Ron all day.”

I hand over to beautiful Bride Natalie…

How did you meet?…

“Ron and I met through work ten years ago. love blossomed and the rest is history.”

Tell us about the Engagement…

“We got engaged in Corfu on our first holiday together.”

“Ron had been asking me to marry him pretty much every day and my stock answer was “buy me a ring” and when we were away he did.”

“We had a very long engagement – eight years in total- as our children, Francesca and Charlie came along first but in 2015 we decided it was about time we made it official.”

“We decided to keep it local so all our family and friends could attend so we went for a drive one day and visited many different venues and decided on the Warren Lodge in Shepperton, as it is next to the river Thames and Ron is an avid fisherman so it was quite fitting!”

“We used local suppliers including Chair Cover Dreams for the room decoration, curly cakes for the wedding cake and a good friend of mine, Steph who owns Summers photography to capture our memories from the day and it made it all the more special.”

“Ron and I have always been a team and we really enjoyed planning our wedding – even if we did have a couple of squabbles.”

“We made all of the decisions together and it meant that the day went really well.”

What was the Best bit of your Big Day?…

“The best bit of our day was I finally got to marry my best friend.”

“Ron and I have been through many things that could have broken other couples but it has only made us stronger.”

“The other good thing to come from our wedding is I decided I enjoyed planning it so much I enrolled and passed a wedding planner’s course and I have now started my own wedding planning business called Top Hats and Tiaras and I am really excited to see what the future holds.”
