Today I am thrilled to share this gorgeous Autumnal Buckinghamshire Wedding with accents of reds, orange and yellow and rustic flair.

They are a like minded couple who understand your needs, feelings and emotions, and are passionate about what they do, who they meet and the magical moments they capture.

They say of the couples beautiful Autumnal Buckinghamshire Wedding…

We met the lovely Rhianna and John at a local wedding fair back in 2017!

They have been such a pleasure to work with since the very beginning, so sweet and friendly.

We absolutely loved their wedding day, the perfect fusion of colour, culture, emotions and an awesome band in the evening.

We loved working at Whittlebury Hall and then moving to Rhianna’s beautiful family home for the evening reception, the most incredible barn which was perfectly decorated!

Beautiful Bride Rhianna shares her love story…

How did you meet?

John and I have known each other since we were at school. What started at friendship developed into to love.

Tell us about the Proposal…

We had been away on a romantic trip to Pembrokeshire and went to a beach to watch the sunset.

I was so excited as I had been hinting about a proposal for a while.  Anyway fast forwards an hour or so.. no proposal.

Fast forward a month…. John and I had planned to spend the day together but he was being very weird for what appeared to be no reason.

Once we got back to his house it became apparent the reason why!

He had arranged his living room like a fancy restaurant with rose petals and candles and cooked an amazing home cooked three course meal.

I didn’t want to get my hopes up as I thought he was going to propose before but after the dark chocolate mouse (my fav) he got down on one knee!

Turns out the ring wasn’t ready for our trip to Pembrokeshire but I’m so glad as I burst into tears and loved our special intimate engagement.

Tell us about your wedding planning journey

Being engaged was amazing and we had so many ideas about planning the wedding(s).

We were having one Indian wedding and one English wedding to allow the celebration of both our cultures.

Although daunting the experience was wonderful. Pinterest was helpful in getting ideas and we delegated a lot of tasks to willing family and friends!

Any special touches/DIY?

We made our wedding centrepieces and favours which was plum jam from our plum tree.

The table plan and place names were themed around lord of the rings, a joint love of ours.

All the decor inside the barn we put up ourselves, my mum had been collecting bits and pieces for years which all came in handy.

Our amazing wedding cake was made by John’s sisters best friend and the cake figurines by his sister !

What was the theme /colour palette of your Autumnal Buckinghamshire Wedding Day?

Everyone who knows me knows I love reds, oranges and yellows so  matching it to the season was a natural choice.

What was the best bit of your day?

Being surrounded by love and joy! The whole day was amazing and so happy. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful party with great food and entertainment and I got to marry my best friend ! What more could you want !

Is there anything you would do differently?

Try and slow down during the wedding day and take a moment to look out and appreciate the feeling.

What advice would you give to other couples getting married?

Enjoy every moment, yes the planning can be stressful but enjoy the team work and getting to know each others families etc.

Take time for yourselves on the wedding day. And pick a good band! Ours were outstanding and it really made for a great party.
