Today I am thrilled to share this gorgeous garden party wedding at the Bride and Grooms home in Farringdon in Hampshire.
The Bride wore Lusan Mandongus and the day was very much a family affair.
Images were captured by Jason of Alexander Leaman Photography.

Jason shares his recollections of the couples day…
“It’s always nice to be invited to a wedding, but when it’s also held at someone’s home it feels like even more of a privilege.
“From the moment I met Lottie and Paul I knew they were going to be a lot of fun – really relaxed and generous of spirit. We had their e-shoot at the house (Clyders) too which was the first time I’d get to see the location for the Marquee.”
“Now I’ve shot a bunch of garden weddings before, and they’ve all had that something special, but seeing Clyders completely knocked me off my feet.”
“Basically, I fell in love with the house and the people within the first 5 minutes of arriving.”
“Set in the beautiful Hampshire village of Farringdon Paul & Lottie’s home looked like something out of a property magazine – all authentic rustic charm and the feel of a real and humble family home, which is exactly what it was. Stylish without the styling.”
“I couldn’t wait to shoot the wedding.”
“The weather helped. A glorious day set us up for a bit of high glamour in the countryside.”
“Paul’s children were to play a big part in the day from the start, the girls helping out with Lottie’s preparations while his young son took on the role of ‘Best Man’, and played the part very well I must say.”
“The church was everything you’d expect from an ancient village pitching the tone for how the rest of the day would look and feel. Emotions were already running high as tears were in full flow in the church, more of which to come.”
“A perfect afternoon with the right people, this was an easy wedding for me to blend in to as a guest and from a stylistic point of view too.”
“Everywhere I pointed the camera there was something or someone beautiful to photograph. A really nice balance of kids and adults too, and it all just felt very natural and personal.”
“The wedding breakfast was punctuated with probably the most emotional speech from Paul that you will hear at any wedding and yes, it was one of those occasions when I found myself hiding behind the camera with a few tears in my eye too.”
“Extremely humble, very heartfelt, and resonating with his children especially and of course everyone there.”
“As the evening eased into night and the party got under way it was time for me to leave. The party was theirs – I was just lucky enough to be invited in for a moment.”
Thank you so much to Alexander (Jason) for sharing this stunning garden party wedding.
I love the beautiful cream palette that runs throughout the day bringing a sophisticated elegance interspersed with gorgeous rustic touches, and hints of latte and lavender.
The incredible importance of family is clear both in the preparations for the day and for the love and joy bursting out from the images.

Jason put us at ease from the moment we met. We loved his pictures so much and he seemed to fit right in from the start. We even had a pre wedding shoot in the village a couple of weeks before the wedding.
We’re not particularly comfortable in front of the camera but the pictures looked amazing and really made us feel 110% more relaxed for the wedding
Our Wedding pictures were so lovely, everything we’d hoped for and more. We can’t thank him enough and we’re so glad we found him. (Consider him recommended)!
Dress – this was from a shop in Winchester that has now closed down! The dress was a design by Lusan Mandongus
Shoes – A wonderful girly day in London with my sister, champagne and Christian Laboutin in Selfridges.
Flowers – we used our neighbours who have a flower business – Hopper Cavendish and Jane Edwards from Hall Farm, Church Street, Upper Farringdon
They walked the flowers to the house and were also part of the party in the evening too!
Bridesmaid Dresses – The girls were given the colour and then the choice of whatever dress style they wanted! We actually got them on-line from I’m not sure where, but then had a lovely local seamstress tailor them to make them exactly what they wanted!
Marquee – this was Ollie Charrington at Alresford Marquees – again keeping it in the village! His parents are our neighbours!
Wedding Cake – I really struggled with getting the design we wanted made locally and I have no idea why!
So my sister transported the cake down from Derbyshire – spare macarons and all! I can’t remember the suppliers – I know we had someone make macarons and then my sister collected them and took them to the cake maker who duly stuck them on!
Caterers – Surrey Gourmet Caterers, Dorking.
Lindsay was brilliant and was the only caterer who actually listened to how we wanted to style the wedding!
Hair – By the delicious Milo flown in from Italy! Milo Is my Mum’s hairdresser
