A Movie themed Wedding in Wales with a pink & white palette and the Ghostbusters Car

Today I am excited to share this incredible Movie themed Wedding in Wales with a pink & white palette and the Ghostbusters Car.

The couple are Victoria and Sion and following a U.S Big Day there marriage was blessed back home in Methyr Tydfil with their family and friends celebrating with them.

Images were captured by Springbox Photography.

I hand over to beautiful Bride Victoria….

How did you meet?

“We were an internet romance meeting on the Plenty Of Fish Dating website.”

Tell us about the Engagement..

“He proposed to me on the 15th of Febuary 2015 (4 years to the day we first spokto each other) in Los Angeles at Griffith Park with the Hollywood Sign in the distance.”

Tell us about your wedding planning journey

“From the moment we got engaged it was pretty obvious what the theme was going to be.”

“Since we got engaged in Hollywood the movie’s had to play a big part of our wedding.”

“The Ecto 1 car from the Ghostbusters was the first thing I booked and probably the best thing I booked.”

“The pink and white colour theme came from my love of the colour pink.”

“I only had 18 months to plan from when we got engaged and I was quite shocked at how things booked up quickly and how far in advance.”

“I assumed 18 months was plenty of time but I learned it was more difficult than that.”

“We got married initially in New York with a handful of family and friends and then just over a month later in Methyr Tydfil we had a blessing and amazing reception.”

“I found the whole planning process at times quite difficult but thankfully it all came together in the end.”

What was the best bit of your day?

“We adored our wedding car from Ghostbusters Car Hire, and our photos with it are great focal point.”

“Also getting to spend the day with all the people we love was amazing.”

What advice would you give to other couples getting married?

“Leave plenty of planning time because thing’s book up fast.”

“Most of all try not to stress too much and above all enjoy it because it goes too fast.”

Thanks to Gem at Springbox Photography for capturing some really rather spectacular shots, and thanks too to Victoria and Sion for allowing me to share their incredibly creative and frankly awesome day.

This is one inspired couple that have truly made their day a fun reflection of who they are as a couple.
