Mylo Photography are Kieran and Joanne, a husband and wife team based in Sheffield.

They say…”We have amazing memories of our wedding day and now, as Mylo Photography, we want to help clients remember theirs.”

“We want to be there for the getting ready, the excitement, the nerves and anticipation.”

“For the “I do” and the whispered “I love you”, for the laughter, for the tears, for the just married giddiness and for the crazy dancing.”

“For the precious details and your beautiful guests, for an amazing day to start a life long marriage.”

“We will capture your whole day and give it to you to keep forever.”

“We specialise in relaxed, natural, reportage style wedding photography.”

“We believe that your wedding photos should tell the story of your wedding day and reflect you as a couple.”

“We don’t really do posing awkwardly or making you feel uncomfortable, instead we will blend into the background, capturing candid moments, only employing light direction occasionally and when requested in order to capture you and your guests at your very best.”

Mylo Photography share their memories of the couple and their day…
“Natalie was a member of a Facebook wedding planning group where Mylo Photography have been chosen to be the recommended wedding photographers.”

“She’d posted about needing a photographer, I got in touch and we went from there.”

“Natalie was getting married in the New Forest and we are from Sheffield so traveled down on New Years day to meet them the day before.”

“Natalie and James were lovely and we immediately hit it off amid venue decorating and last minute preparations!”

“We arrived bright and early on the day at Natalie’s family home to a hive of activity and excitement before moving onto the Mill.”

“After a beautiful ceremony we went for a particularly muddy ramble and were rewarded with a gorgeous golden sunset.”

“Hog roast, vodka miniatures, amazing favours and heartfelt speeches followed before the Mill was converted into the ultimate party venue complete with casino, sweetie bar, photo booth and disco!”

“We were overwhelmed with the welcome and with the warmth of Natalie and James’ family and friends, and we were delighted to have been able to be part of this wonderful celebration.”

I hand over to gorgeous Bride Natalie…

How did you meet?

“We met online, after a glass of wine with a friend I (Natalie) decided to take the plunge and sign up for the first time.”

“I created my profile, went to the loo and came back to a message from James.”

“I never went back on after that!

When did you get engaged?

“We got engaged on Christmas Day 2013, James was due to be spending Christmas at his family home in Wales, so I wasn’t expecting to see him for a week. And then he turned up on my front step and the rest is history!”

Tell us about your wedding planning journey

“It started very quickly!”

“We had found and booked our venue by the end of January and the caterers soon after that.”

“We both have busy jobs and didn’t want this to be a stressful process so my plan was to start early, make quick decisions and keep it as pleasant a process as possible!”

“And without exception, I loved every second of the planning, we hired an empty venue where we could bring in everything ourselves without being bound to packages or preferred suppliers which meant the day felt so ‘us’ and bespoke.”

“We did lots ourselves, made things, and were able to call upon incredibly talented friends and family to help.”

When did you get married?

“We were married just after New Year on the 2nd of January 2015.”

What was the best bit of your day?

“The whole thing!!”

“Seeing beaming faces and belly laughs, wonderful food, all our favourite people in one room, and the frantic but joyful morning at my parents house with my parents and bridesmaids which I had been so looking forward to.”

What advice would you give to other couples getting married?

“Really make the day about each other, but remember what it’s like to be a wedding guest and what you loved / didn’t.”

“It is about you and your wedding of course but people spend a lot of money and time attending and they deserve to have a wonderful day too!”

“And don’t count down the days too much – it is over so quick!!”

Thank you so much to Mylo Photography for sharing this gorgeous New Year Wedding.

What is abundant in this wedding is emotion.

The depth of feeling an love exudes from the images and it has an incredible warmth.

The cream and plum colour palette is exquisite and perfection for a winter wedding and the little touches like the Casino, vodka minature drinks favours, photobooth and the sweetie buffet shows lots of thought for the guests.

All in all its a beautiful celebration.
