Today I am delighted to share this fun, non traditional Surrey Wedding with a hint of rock n roll and Fire eaters.
Images were captured by Joshua Wyborn Photographic.
Joshua Wyborn is a Lake District & Cumbria based wedding photographer.
He covers the UK & destinations for weddings and elopements In a contemporary style.
His approach is more observational, creative, and documentary-style rather than the stiff formality of endless group shots.
His eyes are be peeled for those unexpected moments that can make a day creating shots that are unposed, candid, spontaneous.
They are moments captured rather than created and will tell the story of your big day in a naturalistic way.
Joshua says of the couple and their day…
“As a Lake District And Cumbria Wedding Photographer I’m used to travelling around a little recently I travelled all the way down to Horsley Towers in Surrey for Shereen & Robs big day.”
“Alongside me for the whole day and the 700-mile round trip was Allan Blackett second shooting throughout.”
“Horsley Estate Towers is a lakeside 19th century mansion near Guildford in the beautiful Surrey countryside and is a gorgeous wedding venue.”
“Not only has it got a secret chapel, cloisters and a lake they also have an amazing way with clients.”
“Shereen & Rob met 10 years ago while She was working at a bookies where she was the manager.”
“When, according to Shereen, Rob started an argument over betting odds and why he didn’t get the return he thought he should.”
“Funnily enough, it wasn’t long after that Rob started drinking in Shereen local public establishment where they started to know each other more and more.”
“Needless to say, they got along and rather liked each other.”
“10 years on they said their vows at Horsley Estate Towers in front of friends and family enjoying their non-traditional wedding which summed them up to the tee!”
“Shereen had a beautiful black dress with some stunning Jimmy Choo shoes while Rob was sporting a bespoke tailored suit.”
“Not only was her dress non-traditional, but the confetti was replaced with bubbles and the evening’s entertainment was a fire performance by South Coast Eyes of Fire!”
“There were some traditional touches mind, Steve Eggleton was the Toastmaster on hand throughout the entire day helping to make it all run smoothly alongside the venue’s staff.”
“The gorgeous cake was made by There’s Nothing Quite Like Cake aswell which was quite the show stopper.”
