Today I am thrilled to share this quirky colourful DIY Wedding in Northamptonshire.
Elly and Adam were married at Dodford Manor in a beautiful family celebration where smiles abounded.
Images were captured by Dan of Two D Photography.
Two-D Photography was started officially by Dan Davies in 2010, and Sarah – the love of his life joined the team later in 2011.
They have been growing the business together ever since, and Beth joined the studio team in 2016!
They specialise in a variety of areas including Family Portrait Photography, Wedding Photography, Wildlife Photography, Commercial and Editorial Photography, Fashion shoots and events photography.
They also produce video for musicians, corporations and artists. They have a unobtrusive, creative and energetic approach as well as a deep love for what they do.
They are based in Bedford.
Dan shares his recollections of the couples beautiful day…
“Elly and Adam held their wedding at the beautiful Dodford Manor, which provided a great backdrop to their quirky, bright wedding.”
“Dodford Manor, is an exclusive country house barn wedding venue, and is one of the most beautiful barn wedding venues in the country.”
Nestled amidst rolling Northamptonshire countryside, the award winning Dodford Manor offers a stunning collection of lovingly restored 17th century stone and contemporary oak barns, with spectacular rural views.”
“It truly is a hidden gem.”
“The bridesmaids were in a mix of colours, and even the camper van added a pop of brightness to the day!”
“Its especially nice to know when a few things have been DIY at a wedding, there is something special about using the talents of your family and friends, and we love capturing them!”
“Elly’s accessories were made by her mum (Patrice Yardley), her dad drove her to the wedding, and the pair had a number of scrummy looking cakes, all made by family members, too!”
“A few things we loved that were not so DIY were: Shoes, from Irregular Choice, the flowers, from Fleurette, the brides beautiful dress from Mignonette, and the colourful bridesmaids dresses, from Something new, Something blue; all of which helped to make this wedding one of the most laid back and joyous we’ve been to!”
Thank you so much to Two D for sharing this stunning colourful DIY Wedding.
