A romantic rainy Alabama Wedding at Gabrella Manor with aspects of soft pink and ivory

Today I am thrilled to share the romantic rainy Alabama Wedding of Laura and Tanner at Gabrella Manor with aspects of soft pink and ivory.

Images were captured by Meredith Ryncarz Photography.

Meredith says of the couples rainy Alabama Wedding…

The ivy covered historic estate of Gabrella Manor sat against a backdrop of heavy rain and wind on Laura and Tanners Wedding Day.

While most brides would be bummed about the yucky weather, Laura was cheerful, and the atmosphere in the bridal suite was upbeat as they got ready for the day.

Laura’s bridesmaids helped to set up pictures of the couple as young children, as the groom and groomsmen played poker down the hall.

The couple opted not to have a first look, and the wait was worth it as Tanner was all smiles when Laura walked down the aisle amid the swishing of the wind outside.

The couple was married by her uncle as they were surrounded by loving friends and family.

After the ceremony the happy couple stole away for newly married portraits and even braved the howling wind and rain

This proves that a rainy wedding doesn’t always have to be gloomy, and no matter what the weather, beautiful images can still be crafted.

Following this they enjoyed a private meal together, their first as husband and wife before being announced into the reception for funny toasts by both of the couples fathers.

At the end of the wedding day, Laura and Tanner exited the wedding amid a flurry of snow which brought delight to all the guests faces both young and old.

Thanks to Meredith for sharing this lovely rainy wedding day.

A rainy Wedding Day is actually seen as good luck symbolising fertility and cleansing.

Rain doesn’t have to be a disaster, but its always best to have a Plan B.

And don’t forget it gives you that extra excuse to cuddle up, to have those one of a kind romantic photos, it also gives an opportunity to get artistic with umbrellas and thats even before you get to the rainbows.

So whether its a downpour or just a drizzle just embrace it, years down the line it will be a great story.
