A Rustic Cheshire Wedding at Combermere Abbey with hints of pink & lace

Today I am thrilled to share this beautiful rustic Cheshire Wedding at Combermere Abbey with hints of pink & lace.

The Bride wore Maggie Sottero and the sun shone brightly on the couples lovely intimate September celebration.

Images were captured by Charlotte Giddings Photography.

Charlotte Giddings is an experienced wedding photographer based in Whitchurch Shropshire. (She loves to travel too!)

She loves to work with fun loving couples who like relaxed, creative and colourful photography.

Her approach is to be relaxed and unobtrusive to put her lovely couples at ease and get the most natural photographs of their amazing day!

She says of the couples day…

“I remember walking away from Amy and Anthony’s wedding and thinking what a wonderful wedding that was.”

“I loved the relaxed atmosphere with Amy and the girls and Anthony and the boys next door before the ceremony in the glasshouse.”

“Everything was calm, sociable in the cottages and the wedding was incredible – blue sky and sunshine for their September wedding!”

“Amy and Anthony were a pleasure to photograph, a really beautiful couple!”

“I loved watching and capturing the friends and family and the beautiful relationships throughout the day.”

” Amy is incredibly close with her Grandad and I loved how involved he was before the wedding and coming to see Amy all ready in her wedding dress.”

I hand over to beautiful Bride Amy…

How did you meet?

“We met back in 1999 at High School but got together a couple of years after we left school in 2006.”

Tell us about the Engagement…

“We got engaged in May 2015 and it was really relaxed, personal and very spontaneous.”

“It was at home, I was in my pyjamas after a lovely day out, ant got on one knee in the living room and proposed.”

Tell us about your Wedding journey…

“Ant very much took a back seat and I treated it like a military operation.”

“Within a couple of weeks we had the date and venue confirmed.”

“I absolutely fell in love with Combermere and knew Ant would too – it was perfect.”

“I developed a spreadsheet to track progress and expenditure and we spent most weekends doing something wedding related!”

“The whole day was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing.”

“It sounds cheesy to say but It genuinely was the happiest day of our lives – it was relaxed, intimate and so much fun – we didn’t stop laughing/smiling.”

What Advice would you give to other Couples getting Married?

“Enjoy the whole process including the planning and don’t get too stressed.”

“Choose your guest list carefully – We were really clear with friends/family that it was a small wedding and that we would only invite those that were really close to us (even if it did upset family politics).”

“I think that was the key – we loved every guest at our wedding so it was so special.”

“Make it last as long as possible – We also all stopped over the night before in the amazing cottages and had a pre wedding party which was fabulous.”

Thank you so much to Charlotte for sharing this rustic inspired Cheshire Wedding.

Love the delicate pink which flows so seamlessly through the styling.

Such pretty details from the glorious florals of bouquets and centrepieces to the beautiful cake, dropbox guest book, and little Pimms favours.
