A spectacular space themed wedding with out of this world purple, blue and green details

Today I am thrilled to share a spectacular space themed wedding with out of this world purple, blue and green details.

Images were captured by Misty Miotto Photography at Kennedy Space Centre.

Misty is a Florida based Wedding Photographer who has dedicated a lifetime to providing timeless memories to her couples.

Working alongside her husband Nelio she has had the privilege of photographing special occasions both big and small all over the world from lavish celebrity events to small intimate destination weddings.

Misty shares her recollections of the couple…

This Sci-fi loving couple includes our Groom David who is a Pro Gamer, and the Pro tour champion of Magic the Gathering and his own Princess Leia, his bride Krystal.

The couple were married at the historic and world renowned Kennedy Space Center on October 24th, 2020.

The Astronaut Winston E. Scott was a special guest speaker and also performed the trumpet for the newlyweds.

Beautiful Bride Krystal shares the couples love story, and about their amazing space themed wedding day…

How did you meet?

We met through a mutual friend online.

Tell us about the Proposal..

David proposed on the back porch of our condo due to his original plans getting rained out.

Tell us the inspiration behind your day…

We wanted to incorporate space in the theme of our wedding. So with that we went with purple, blue, greens.

Let’s talk wedding decor. How did you decorate your space for the ceremony and the reception?

We didn’t want to take away from the inspiration that Kennedy Space Centre could invoke, so we went with just flowers and other simple touches.

What were the florals like in your wedding?

Emma’s Flowers did such a fantastic job. We mostly went with purple and blue flowers and wanted to make them look like galaxies.

She made the bouquets for the girls, broches for the guys and the centrepieces.

She also made us a keepsake flower out of paper to keep after. The flowers were really special.

Did you personalise the day in any way?

We hired a professional poet to write custom live poetry during our wedding.

What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?

It was the party and seeing it all come together. Friends and family enjoying the time and effort we put forward to make KSC look magical.

Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?

Always remember that the day is about each of you as a couple.

If everything doesn’t go quite to plan it’s ok, don’t fret, as long as you both had a blast.

Take a look at the beautiful film of the day…
