Today I am excited to kick off the week with a gorgeous springtime vintage inspired Barn Wedding at the Tudor Barn with an apple green palette, animal themed table names, lots of lace and a sprinkle of handcrafted goodness.
Images of the day were captured by Michael of My Beautiful Bride.

With a fun and fresh approach Michael has a great ability to tell the story of any wedding day.
He says…. “I love to work with creative couples who like putting their own spin on their day.”
“I’m inspired by unusual venues and wonderful settings whether in the middle of a forest or inside an old music hall.”
“My approach is professional and fun, engaging with my subjects and always seeking a fresh perspective.”
“I really go that extra mile to ensure I deliver heartfelt, uniquely crafted images. I offer a great service that includes a full day’s coverage, expert editing, a DVD of images, meetings and venue visits before the day. And there are some knock your socks off optional extras available if you like.
I hand over to beautiful Bride Hannah…
How did you meet?
“At Staines Swimming Club. I was a swimmer and Brad was a lifeguard in 2002!”
When did you get engaged?
“I took Brad away to Munich for his 30th Birthday present as a surprise.”
“He surprised me back by asking me to marry him on his Birthday which was 13th October 2012.”
Tell us about your wedding planning journey
“We knew that it was important to us to get married in a Church and knew that we wanted a relaxed atmosphere for the reception.”
“I am what my mother calls me an “earthy girl” so we just had to choose a Barn for the main reception.”
“I wanted to make the most of ensuring that there was a vintage, homemade and most importantly personal feel to the whole preparation.”
“My sister and I love making things so we were able to enjoy our time together making the invitations, signs, bunting, cakes.”
“Throughout our planning we ensured that it was personal to both of us – for example we love our animals so each of the tables were named after each of them.”
“Family are also important to us so we had family pictures up with pictures of the two of us on string to show our journey.”
“Flowers were also important… Flowers I love Flowers!!!”
When did you get married?
” We were married on the 28th of March 2014.”
What was the best bit of your day?
“There were so many wonderful moments but walking down the aisle to see my husband to be.”
“I also didn’t know the song that I was going to walk down to as Brad Chose it.”
“He wanted to choose a song that reminded him of me, so it was such a beautiful moment for us both. I walked in to “The First time I saw Your Face”.
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
“Remember to STOP.”
“Take a moment together and look around and just take in all what it happening around you.”
“Brad and I did this and we thought WOW what wonderful friends and family we have that have all come together to celebrate this special day.”
“Oh, and try to stick to your budget!”
Thank you so much to Michael for sharing this very stylish barn wedding.
Love the blend of apple green palette through bridesmaid dresses and all the pretty lace, pearls and vintage crockery creating a gorgeous vintage ambience.
Love also how the couple have used their love of animals as table names, and the love of flowers is clear with gorgeous floristry being a focal point.
