Today I am thrilled to share this stunning cosy Winter Wedding at Samlesbury Hall in Lancashire with pretty navy blue details.

She says of the couple…
It was more than a pleasure to photograph Carol and Barry’s intimate winter wedding at Samlesbury Hall, a romantic candle lit celebration earlier this year in January.
There was a room full of the closest family and friends supporting them as they tied the knot, and it was truly an emotional and wonderfully happy day.
I hand over to beautiful Bride Carol …
How did you meet?
We first knew each other 25 years ago through our work and over the years kept coming in contact but never met!
All this changed a few years ago when we finally met up and realised we had a lot of interests in common.
Barry moved 180 miles north to live with me and we have never looked back.
Getting married was my 60th birthday present to Barry. We didn’t really get formally get engaged.
Tell us about your wedding planning journey…
This was very easy as we wanted a small very personal wedding followed by a party for all our friends and family.
I had always wanted to get married at Samlesbury Hall, all the rest was just fine details.
What was the theme /colour palette of your Big Day?
It was a winter wedding so cosy was the theme, with navy blue as the colour palette.
What was the best bit of your day?
The marriage ceremony without a doubt, and being given away by my son Rob was a special moment too.
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
Keep it simple, keep it personal so you can relax and enjoy the day.
