Today I am thrilled to share a stunning and family centred Cooling Castle Wedding with vintage inspired styling and custom converse shoes.
Images of the day were captured by Claire of Level 11 Photography.
Claire Sullivan a Kent based photographer who travels all over the UK and sometimes internationally to photograph weddings.
2014 is her 16th year as a professional photographer and she absolutely loves it!!
Having photographed 100’s of weddings she still finds each one really is special and unique!
She loves being a part of someone’s day and capturing memories for them.
Her aim is to capture the love and emotion of the day as well as the small details and the little glances.
Her packages are inclusive of a pre-wedding shoot which means that you get to know each other a little before the day.
Clients can choose to have a beautifully presented USB of your photographs or a timeless, beautiful wedding album that can be shown off for years!!
Claire says of the couple…
“I didn’t actually meet the couple together until the wedding day.”
“Georgina contacted me via my Facebook, booked me via email after a few emails and we met at the Bluewater Wedding Show where I was exhibiting so I could show her some albums.”
“I didn’t meet Andrew until the wedding day.”
“Their Wedding was a lovely, happy day full of laughter and love!”
“A cute couple together and fantastic, loving parents to their little boy!”
I hand over to beautiful Bride Gina to tell the couples story…
How did you meet?
“We met at work at National Grid where both our dads also work, and it went from there.”
When did you get engaged?
“We got engaged in Brighton which has always been a special place to us.”
“It was a spur of the moment decision and we purchased my ring there on the day from a vintage jewellers in The Lanes which is where I always wanted it to be from.”
“It caught both families by surprise as we were booked to go to Paris a couple of months after where everyone thought we would do it.”
Tell us about your wedding planning journey
“Our wedding journey was fairly straight forward, we due to marry in March 2015 but bought it forward by a year due to a cancellation in September 2013 so we only had 6 months to plan it in.”
“I had no idea on what I wanted beforehand but it only took about 2 weeks to choose it all.”
“Luckily we had two easy going bridesmaids with one of them being very creative.”
“She was able to help a lot with the ideas to fit in with our vintage theme.”
When did you get married?
“We got married on March 2nd 2014 at the beautiful Cooling Castle.”
What was the best bit of your day?
“The best bit for us was having all our friends and family together for the day & the party we had in the evening was the best especially with the Photobooth! ”
“And of course finally becoming husband and wife and a family all with the same name as we have a 2 year old son.”
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
“Enjoy every moment of the day and the lead up as it does go far to quickly – we both haven’t 100% got over it yet as was our perfect day!”
Thank you so much to Claire for sharing her fantastic imagery and this stunning Cooling Castle Wedding.
Thank you also to Gina and Andrew for sharing an insight into their gorgeous day.
