He delivers a mix of reportage & contemporary portraiture, reflecting his influences and past career of working for over 15 years for Fleet Streets finest titles.
Linus shares his recollections of a glorious celebration,
“Andy & Laura’s Huntsham Court Wedding was such a pleasure to capture.”
“Huntsham Court is a stunning Baronial Mansion situated in the beautiful rolling Devon countryside on the borders of the Exmoor National Park and close to the Somerset border.”
“What a spectacular day it was! So many elements, great people and brilliant music, all complimented by beautiful weather.”
“Such beautiful surroundings with the ceremony being held in the main house, and an idyllic chapel on the other side of the estate where the couple and their parents headed over to for a blessing.”
“There was Croquet on the lawns outside, fine food and did I mention the speeches?”
“Wedding speeches are a key ‘moment’ to capture for me. Its often a time that presents plenty of opportunities to record raw emotion and this wedding was one packed with them.”
“Second shooting with me on the day was a friend and fellow photographer Jim Johnson, so many thanks for his valuable input.”
“From my very first introductions to the couple it was clear that they had a very clear vision of how their day was going to be.”
“From the chosen forest theme right the way through to the small details, their shared a passion for good photography, with Andy being a professional animator and video cameraman.”
“With a portfolio of productions behind him such as Rasta Mouse & Postman Pat, along with musicians such as Newton Faulkener. It was his first solo project, that saw him producing the the official music video for his friend and musician Ryan Keen.”
“It was Ryan’s debut single ‘Focus’ and it went on to Best Music Video at the Limelight Short Film Awards 2012.”
Being such an important part in each others careers, it was only natural for Ryan to play for the couple on their big day. I knew it would be special, but didn’t know until the day how great a personal input Ryan was going to have.
“From serenading the bride down the aisle to a tune Laura & Andy fell in love with – ‘Grow Old With You’ by Adam Sandler to Ryan singing the couples first dance of ‘Together Forever’ by Jack Johnson.”
“Both lovely touches, but he still gave more by playing three of his own compositions at the start of the evening entertainment.”
“This wedding’s soundtrack was perfect and wasn’t going to be beat.”
Love the forest theme styling from the little wooden look place cards to the bird box, floral and moss centrepieces and trailing ivy detailing thoughout the day.
And even more than all the wonderful detailing is how such raw emotion and importance of family is captured…just beautiful!
