Today I am thrilled to share this stunning Maine Wedding with pretty blue and ivory details.
Images were captured by Andrea Simmons Photography.
Andrea says of the couples day…
There is nothing like watching two people who have known each other half their lives, come together in such pure happiness and joy.
Peter, the Groom only called me a few weeks before the Wedding to find out if I could capture his, and the lovely Lindas day.
When I met them to go over details I loved how simple and to the point everything was with them.
Linda and Peter met 40 years ago when Peter who is an architect designed Linda’s House.
They stayed in touch, and when they both found themselves single again they reconnected just a little over a year before their day.
They were married at their home church in Wayne, which they attend regularly by their pastor, and they had their reception at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club where they are active members.
In fact they even managed to fit in a game of golf in the morning of the Wedding.
The Club in the rustic woodlands and panoramic hills of central Maine has been called a gem in the wilderness and is blessed with jaw dropping 360 degree views.
Peter and Linda were just so natural and comfortable through their portraits, and their smiles abounded all day long.
There was an a huge air of celebration as they enjoyed their day with their family and lifelong friends.
Kids played tag, adults tore up the dance floor and it was just such a joyous occasion to be part of.
