Today I am thrilled to share a stunning River House Texas Wedding with London Blue and orange details.
The weather may have not been what they wished for but the love shown in their simmering first look and the beautiful colours of their styling added a real warmth to their special day.
Images were captured by Mercedes Morgan Photography.

I hand over to Groom Jason to share the couples story…
How did you meet?
My cousin introduced us – fun fact, she also officiated our wedding.
She and Ana were in vet school together, and Ana needed a place to stay for a week in Austin while she did an internship.
My cousin asked me if she could stay at my house and of course I was ok with that.
So the first time we ever met was at my front door.
After the week, we decided that the semi-long distance would be worth seeing each other, and a year later she got a veterinary job in Austin and moved in.
Tell us about the Proposal…
I proposed on a beach in Bermuda.
What was important to you in your wedding planning journey…
It was important to us to have a good band, and to have a venue where they didn’t stop the party and we could go as late as we want.
What was the theme /colour palette of your Big Day?
We went super bright with a palette of London blue and orange.
Any special touches/DIY?
My Aunts made the dessert table, it was incredible. We had little doggy bags for people to take dog treats home with them with pictures of our dogs and cat on them, because they were not allowed at the venue.
The silly photo booth was a nice touch we think too.
Instead of a guest book, we had the guests sign our giant Jenga blocks so we can see their messages to us whenever we play it. The venue was definitely a special touch (see below)
What was the best bit of your day?
Seeing nearly all of our friends and family dancing into the wee hours, Ana says her best bit was the sharing of the personalized vows.
Is there anything you would do differently?
We would have had the wedding a little later in the year so we wouldn’t have risked the cold weather (which we got).
It was 80F the whole week leading up to the wedding and 40F on the wedding day. Then 70F the next day.
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
Start planning early, and don’t get stressed about it.
Enjoy the process, but set deadlines for yourself for competing tasks.
