A Warm Glow – Winter Wedding at Athelhampton House – Images Linus Moran

Today I am delighted to share the  beautiful Winter Wedding of  Helen & Tony.
Helen, a stunning Scottish bride married  her love Tony in the heart of Dorset  amongst Christmas fairy lights and candles which all gave a warming glow to this lovely December Big Day captured beautifully by Linus Moran.

He delivers a mix of reportage & contemporary portraiture, reflecting his influences & past career of working for over 15 years for Fleet Streets finest titles…

Linus says “Documentary photography is something that has been deeply engrained within me, knowing that each image should tell its own story, whether viewed on its own or as part of a flowing narrative within a set.”

He says of the day “Athelhampton was once the home of Anne Boleyn and this beautiful venue has it all.”
“With its linenfold paneling heraldic stained glass, large fireplace and historic furnishings, the Great Hall is a fine example of Tudor Architecture.”
“Its a lovely venue to work at, not just for its asthestic beauty and the wonderful staff there, but because its all so very nicely layed out.”
“Helen and her family were based at the River Cottage, which was placed in the corner of the grounds.”
“This was so handy for me being able to flit between the Bridal preparation pictures and keeping an eye on the Groom, his men and the arrivals.”

“Unbeknown to me at the time, many of the other Bridal suppliers were personal friends of Helen and she is a well known bussiness owner in Weymouth.”

“From the registrar through to the florist, even the beautiful Rolls Royce was provided by a friend with his car had a story all of it own!”

“This was the first wedding for the Car since being imported back into the country after being previously owned by the Iraqi Royal family.”

“If you look closely you will see the Iraqi Automobile Association badge on the front fender.”
