Today I am thrilled to share the beautiful Welsh Wedding of Natasha and Sean.
The couple live just the other side of the Shropshire/ Wales border but popped over to celebrate their stunning nuptuals filled with a multitude of gorgeous DIY details at Bryngwyn Hall in Llanfyllin.
Images of the day were captured by Shropshire Wedding Photographer Phil Barrett of PB Artworks.

I now hand over to the beautiful Bride Natasha now shares her love story.
How did you meet?
“Myself and Sean met when I was 15 and he was 16 when we both started to work in the kitchen and out front at a restaurant in Nesscliffe, Shrewsbury called The Old Three Pigeons which is now our business!”
“However we didn’t start a relationship until I was 17 and a half and he 18 and a half.”
“Our relationship evolved from a great friendship which I think is nice, he’s not only my husband but has always been my best friend.”
When did you get engaged?
“Sean popped the question on Christmas Eve 2009 in front of our family and friends when we were all out for a meal. I had a no clue it was going to happen!!”
Tell us about your Wedding Planning Journey
“We didn’t start planning for the Wedding straight away but instead enjoyed being engaged and started saving in our wedding fund.”
“We started planning a year before the wedding and we enjoyed everything about planning our day.”
“We had a very clear idea of what we wanted our wedding to be like, and I believe we succeeded our dreams, if not we did better!”
“We found our beautiful venue very quickly, Bryngwyn Hall in Llanfyllin is a stunning manor house and grounds and a massive marquee.”
“The Hall is a privately owned family house located on the borders of Powys Wales , Shropshire and Cheshire.”
“Bryngwyn stands in nine acres of award winning gardens leading down to a beautiful nine acre lake and set in sixty acres of oak studded parkland.”
“I was very particular about all the elements being truly ‘us’ so nearly everything I made with the help of family members and friends.”
“From the invites to the bunting, pom poms, hessian table runners and hessian sashes to the confetti and cones and all the signs around, tables names (golf related in honour of my hubby’s deep love for golf!) even the bar and much more.!
“I found my dress quickly too which was a Pronovias gown and I LOVED it, I didn’t want to take it off and felt great.”
“All in all our wedding planning journey was fun, busy, constantly making things and creative.”
When did you get Married?
“We got married on Friday 9th August 2013 and the sun shone all day for us!”
What was the Best Bit of your Day?
“The best bit of our day was the ceremony, making our vows, showing our love and the beginning of the rest of our lives as husband and wife. Sean says seeing me walk down the aisle was another of his fave moments!”
“The wedding room felt electric, everyone was so happy and jolly and full of fun, my two friends sang during the ceremony with a guitarist which made it extra special.”
“Also a fave moment I will never forget is when my father saw me for the first time in my dress, I had kept everything a secret so everything was a surprise.”
“It was such a special moment, he was so proud and so was I to have him by my side, he wasn’t well years previously but is much better now but things like that make you appreciate having my dad in my life sharing special times.”
What Advice would you give to Engaged Couples?
“The advice that I would give to other couples is enjoy every little moment of the journey of planning and their wedding day, take it all in and savour every bit because it will be the best day of your life!”
“Get a great photographer and videographer as they capture the moments you might miss during the excitement of the day.”
“We did that and don’t regret it at all! You can watch it back whenever you want and re live the day!”
“Also don’t stress!!! It’s not worth it, as after the wedding and your honeymoon you will wish you were planning it all over again!”
Thank you to Phil for sharing this stunning Welsh Wedding. Natasha and Sean have put so much heart into their celebration and made wonderful memories of a fun, family centred day by giving it a stamp that is truly them.
