Today I am thrilled to share the stunning Dalhousie Castle Wedding of Emma and Andrew.
Images of the day were captured by the fantastic Mike Cook Photography.
Mike Cook is an award winning wedding & portrait photographer based in Central Scotland, fast becoming one of Scotland’s most sought after wedding photographers.
He loves playing the guitar, enjoys music and football and admits to drinking far too much coffee.
Mike says of the couples Wedding,
“Emma & Andrew were married at the magnificent Dalhousie Castle, just south of Edinburgh.”
“Dalhousie Castle dates from the 13th century and is a beautiful setting for a Big Day.”
“Set in its own grounds, the castle boasts its own private chapel where you can have your wedding rings delivered by an owl!”
“A few weeks before the Big Day at their Pre Wedding Shoot we had talked about the outdoor shots that we were looking to get come the Wedding day.”
“Sadly, lady luck was not on our side with the weather, and it rained pretty much all day, rendering any shots outside a no go until very late in the day after dark.”
“Fortunately, Dalhousie has such character inside as well as out which allowed us to create some incredible portraits and imagery.”
Thank you to Mike for sharing his incredible photography and this lovely Dalhousie Castle Wedding.
