Today I am very excited to share the incredible peach themed Wedding of John and Natalie at The Italian Villa with a multitude of personal details.
Images of the day were captured by Nick Rutter Photography.
I previously had the priviledge to share the couples beautiful rustic and beach engagement shoot.
Nick Rutter is an award Winning Photographer based in the South of the UK with a passion for crisp, beautiful, natural and relaxed Photography.
He is also a Drummer and lover of great music.
Nick says of his work, and the couple and their day…
“I absolutely LOVE what I do and because of that I’m passionate about all my clients and giving them a brilliant service.”
“I am so blessed to be able to run my own business in this day and age, love what I do, be creative and have the type of client that appreciates what I do and can see the difference from other photographers work and service.”
“It’s important to say that the type of couple that book me are serious about their photography. For me and for them, it’s not about money.”
“Yes there is a budget to consider, but it’s much more about absolutely loving the photographers style/work and basing your decision mostly on that as well as the quality, products, service and rapport with me.”
“I met Natalie who at this stage was heavily pregnant with the beautiful Evie at The Italian Villa Wedding Open Day.”
“We got along really well at the open day, however I didn’t hear back from her for months, which was surprising when we got on so well.”
“You sometimes get great vibes from people and really think they will contact you but it never happened.”
“3/4 months later I receive one of the best emails i have ever received… Photographs of Natalie and her new baby Evie and a message wanting to book me for their wedding.”
“Just when you think you may not see a couple again, they surprise you! And I was so happy they did given the results of both their engagement and their wedding.”
“When it came to the Wedding day…let’s face it, Natalie and John are a hot couple.”
“Not only that, but they had a fantastic location and great weather as well as a great theme and colour scheme.”
“All of these things really make it perfect for a photographer like myself to go to town and deliver.”
“They had a great team of friends/family and wedding suppliers to make the day run smoothly and because I always help with the timings, it enabled them to get everything in that they wanted to and still have time for some sunset photographs later on in the evening at Sandbanks in Poole is just down the road from The Villa, just before their first dance and surprise slideshow, made by John’s Sisters.”
I now hand over to gorgeous Bride, Natalie….
Tell us a wee bit about yourselves?
“John and I are both Sales Managers in Bournemouth, and live for the weekends to have family time with our beautiful daughter Evie, 15 months old.”
How did you meet as a Couple?
“We met on a random night out in Worcester – I (Natalie) live in Bournemouth, John at the time lived in Bromsgrove, West Midlands.”
When did you get engaged?
“We got engaged at the Jasmine Restaurant in the Bellagio Hotel in Las vegas, overlooking the fountains, celebrating my 30th – a complete surprise!!!”
Tell us about your wedding planning journey
“Our initial thoughts was to get married abroad, but then we really wanted all of our friends and family to attend so then started to explore local venues in Dorset.”
“We narrowed our search down to two venues and got our parents to look at both.”
“We then made our decision and booked Italian Villas, Compton Acres Poole.”
When did you get married?
“We were married on the 4th May 2014.”
What was the Best bit of your Day?
“For me walking down the aisle and seeing John, it felt magical.”
“John would probably say the moment the band let him sing a solo to the Killers in front of our whole wedding party, he felt like a rock star!”
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
“Book your photographer early and get a good one!”
“Nick Rutter was not only my photographer; he really assisted and made recommendations on all aspects of our wedding planning.”
“I would also advise to have a videographer. Some moments become a blur, it is really nice to hear your vows, and speeches etc. and really relive the special day.”
“For brides: If you can buy your wedding shoes in two colours! I bought mine in black and white.
“I then wore the black ones for evenings out etc. – I was then used to my wedding shoes and managed to keep them on all day and evening!”
“Enjoy every moment of the day, have the phrase in your mind ‘this is it, this is our day’ enjoy every second, it goes by so fast!”
Thank you so much to Nick for sharing this peach themed Wedding and his amazing photography.
I love the fruity freshness of a peach palette and its gorgeous warm tones.
The shade flows beautifully through John and Natalies celebration and they have personalised their days with so many pretty and thoughtful details.
