Today I am thrilled to share an intimate romantic family focused Dunstable Wedding with pretty white details.
Images were captured by Perfect Timing Photography.
Perfect Timing Photography is a Dunstable based, husband and wife photography team.
They specialise in wedding photography, newborn and sitter sessions, family portraits and special events.
When we first met Rachel & David, we knew they would have a lovely wedding day.
They were planning a low-key wedding with close friends and family – with a small ceremony at the local registry office and then a meal at their favourite restaurant where they had their first date.
Getting ready for the wedding ceremony took place at their home – David and his groomsmen upstairs, and Rachel downstairs.
Drinks and frisby games in the garden with the sun shining, while Rachel finished her bridal prep – bucks fizz and breakfast pastries to set everyone up for the day.
The plan was for David to drive them both to the registry office together – so they had a ‘first look’ in private once Rachel was ready.
It was a beautiful moment seeing David’s reaction to Rachel in her gorgeous bridal gown.
David chose his two best friends to be his best men.
Rachel’s dad walked her down the aisle to meet David, with their niece’s as bridesmaid’s and nephew’s as young ushers.
After the ceremony, we went to Priory Gardens to capture their some images of them with their close family and friends, and some time alone.
The love between these two was so evident while we captured natural images of them both in the gardens.
Their reception was at Chez Jerome, a lovely family-run French restaurant, owned by chef Jerome and his wife Lina
The venue was chosen as thats where the couple had had their first date.
After sharing an intimate wedding breakfast with their guests, it was a quick change of clothes and off they went to their favourite Jazz club for the evening.
We caught the bus into Luton which was hysterical and went to The Bear Club which is our favourite night out.
Bride Rae tells us more about the couple…
How did you meet?
We were introduced at a party and joined a pub quiz team together, and it went from there.
Tell us about the proposal..
David proposed at home, with my ring being handmade by Rachel Jeffery who made it especially so that David could make my wedding ring himself. They fit together perfectly.
What was your favourite part of the day?
Our favourite part of the day was spending it with everyone we love.
What would be your advice for couples getting married?
Our advice to anyone planning their wedding would be to simply do exactly what is personal to you.
