She says of the couples beautiful Nevada garden wedding day…
Ashelee and Austin planned the perfect small garden wedding.
We started with Bridal prep at an old home Airbnb with huge windows and a balcony overlooking the whole city.
Ashelee’s sister did her hair and makeup while she anxiously awaited to see her groom.
We did a first look with the Brides dad right before the wedding and there wasn’t a dry eye, her dad wanted to keep his sunglasses on so she wouldn’t see him cry. It was really sweet!
Throughout the ceremony and wedding there were a lot of really special moments which were all the more significant after the past couple years of Covid keeping everyone apart.
Aftter the ceremony when we were taking their family portraits, Ashelee told me the only way to get her nephew to smile was to say “butthole”.
We tried that but as you can see, he didn’t smile at all but the rest of the family thought that it was hilarious.
Continuing the celebration Ashelee & Austin had an alcohol free dinner with their guests before going back to their airbnb to watch the fireworks over the city and eat pizza.
It was a simple day, focused on their love for each other and enjoying their guests company.
