Today I am delighted to share Kara & Graeme’s beautiful Castle Wedding captured beautifully by Mike Cook Photography.
The wedding took place back in August in glorious weather at Culcreuch Castle in the heart of Stirlingshire,
Culcreuch Castle Hotel is one of Scotland’s oldest hotels with the main hotel building dating from the 14th century, yet now able to provide up-to-date accommodation and facilities, with superb 3-star customer service.
Located near Stirling in Central Scotland, Culcreuch Castle Hotel has been the ancestral seat of the Scottish Clan Galbraith for over 700 years.
The Castle is set in the beautiful countryside of picturesque Scotland within reach of many tourist attractions.
Mike says of the couples Big Day,
“This was the first time I’d ever shot a wedding at Culcreuch Castle and, let me tell you, what a glorious setting it is.”
“Set in beautiful surroundings with a lake and mountainous backdrop – gorgeous. ”
“And, to cap it all, we have perfect weather for photography – a few drops of rain threaten in short bursts but, for the large part, it’s spot on!”
“And, as the icing on the cake, everything was taking place at the one venue so no stresses running here there and everywhere , just relaxed photography.”
“It was a fantastic day but I particularly loved all the little touches from the New York themed table settings to the fantastic Pic and Mix table.
“The New York themed table names were used after New York became an extra special place for the couple after Graeme the Groom proposed there.”
They wanted to make sure that there was a poignant New York reminder somewhere in their Special Day.”
