Today I want to share just a few images from probably one of the most challenging but intensely fulfilling days of my career so far.

In the last week of January I answered a call for help from the Honeyrose Foundation who were trying to fulfil the last wish of Lynda who is terminally ill with renal cancer.

Lynda wished to repledge her love and devotion to her husband Gordon by renewing her Wedding Vows.

The HoneyRose Foundation is a team of people with a desire to help individuals that are enduring a terminal illness.

The call came through Laura Reece of Laura Reece Bridal who was providing Lynda’s dress. From that initial point and after I had spoken to the Foundation, I took over co-ordination and sourcing of suppliers.

In just those few short weeks, and through the extreme generosity of UK Wedding Suppliers and those I now affectionately call Team Kindness an amazing day came together.

These wonderful individuals gave their services and products for free to make a truly special day, in a beautiful pallette of purple and cream.

Though the day was brought together through sad circumstances I hope it became instead a celebration of love and life, and I truly believe we achieved that.

The Couple renewed the vows at St Vincent De Paul Church in Thornliebank, Glasgow with a reception at the Busby Hotel.
