Today I am thrilled to share some gorgeous intimate free spirited sustainable wedding inspiration with forest green and earthy tones.
Its never been more important to reduce your carbon footprint and protect the environment, and with small intentional changes to wedding plans you can do your bit for the planet whilst still creating a stylish celebration.
Kate says of the shoot…
This couple would have met in hot yoga and share the mindset of leading sustainable lives.
They hosted an intimate elopement to avoid unneeded waste believing in fresh starts and that their marriage represented a new beginning.
They offered their guests an opportunity to sage the year away with them, so they may all start anew.
They love kombucha and the health benefits it provides, so decided to have a kombucha tower instead of the traditional champagne.
Their menus were half circle vegan leather menus adorned with gold calligraphy to provide a chic, but natural vibe to their intimate tablescape for their closest supporters in life.
To ensure long-lasting life of their potted plant centrepieces they offered them to their guests as their favours to care for them as their new lives grew and prospered.
They also chose to forego the conventional paper place cards and utilized planter plates in their place to ensure each guest could sustainably care for their plants.
They celebrated their evening by dancing on the venue’s lawn like free spirits.
