LOVE – A subtle nod to Vintage – Real Wedding Feature – Images by P.B Artworks

Today I am thrilled to share the dreamy Vintage inspired Wedding Day shoot of Helen and Paul captured beautifully by the incredible Phil Barrett of P.B Artworks

Phil Barrett is the Creator and Founder of PB Artworks. He started taking photographs many years ago for fun. He then trained as a graphic designer, and an illustrator, and spent many years perfecting his artistic skills. Eventually the camera became his canvas, the lens his eye, and the world his subjectand now he follow his passion shooting Weddings and Portraiture.

Phil shares his rememberance of the couple,

“On the 30th of September and the sun shone down on us all day long. Probably the hottest wedding of the year, for me anyway…I think Helen coped remarkably well with summers late flourish, even though she had anticipated slightly more inclement weather.”

“No one was complaining, and after a brief foray into town to get her hair done Helen returned to her friends home to reveal her dress….with a subtle hint and a nod to all things vintage, with it’s fine lace and incredible detail the dress was simply stunning, with her shoes on her feet and the image now complete, Helen just looked incredible.”

“The ceremony itself was held at Shrewsbury Castle…a nice intimate affair, with gorgeous grounds, the iconic Laura’s tower and the castle itself it is an amazing place to be married.”

“The reception itself was held at Shrewsbury Golf Club….just outside of Condover. This was a challenging venue….but with it’s grounds, and fleeting glimpses of little white balls bouncing about.. Helen and Paul were adventurous enough to go for it…and get some incredible shots by which to remember their day…”

“If I was to pick just one photograph from the day to share with you….it would be this!”

Thank you much to Phil for sharing his beautiful images. A subtle nod to Vintage and just a joyous family occasion.
