Love wins and will always win ~ A beautiful Lockdown inspired wedding shoot

Today I am honoured to share a beautiful Lockdown inspired wedding shoot which goes to prove that love wins, and will ALWAYS win despite anything that the world may throw at it.

Photographers Liz and Adam of Ayelle Photography & Video wanted to inspire their couples (being inspired themselves by kindness all around) and to make them smile, allowing a few moments of brevity from whats unfolding in the world.

What they have created is just so pretty…

Liz and Adam say of the shoot…

We miss weddings so much, so we staged our very own faux Lockdown inspired wedding!

We got dressed up for the occasion, which was held in our cosy cottage..

Adam set up a cute ceremony in the garden and we had two adorable witnesses (spot Dougie the Spaniel and our little girl, Frankie)

We made a toast to you, to us, to all of our loved ones; with a bottle of Corona (sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves!) and finished the day with homemade pizzas!

This shoot was inspired by every little act of kindness we’ve seen over the past weeks.

We’ve all as a nation been through turmoil, and yet love is prevailing in these uncertain times.

From singing on balconies, to clapping for carers/NHS, building support groups, FaceTiming loved ones, carrying out shopping for others, baking goodies and leaving them on doorstops, painting rainbows to lift spirits, donating to charity, Captain Tom raising £25m and just reaching out to others… showing that ‘LOVE WILL ALWAYS WIN.’

These photos are dedicated to YOU, the ones who have had to postpone their weddings, the ones who feel sad their plans didn’t pan out how expected, those who miss their friends and family..

We celebrated you, the love you have shown and the compassion shared.

Love will get you through, you will always have each other and when you eventually have your day you will ultimately have the day of your dreams!

Marriage, and the path to it can be like a long hard hike on what sometimes feel like a mountain of uncertainty with lots of rocky spots but its worth it for the breathtaking view from the top.

That view can be utterly spectacular so put your all into the climb.

This particular situation too can feel like that mountain, and it is for many in their disappointment an act of endurance.

However we know what is happening in keeping us in Lockdown is for the best for all of us to keep us and our loved ones safe and healthy.

Too many have been taken by this horrible disease already, and it hurts our hearts as that is mums, dads, grannies, papas, those in the NHS and the frontline in our infrastructure, or those potentially setting out on a life together with the one they love.

While we cannot at the moment cannot see an end for this, or the top of that mountain we can still strive for that amazing moment when we at last reach the summit.

In our wedding planning we can still make plans, we can still be excited, we can still look to the future as things are just on pause.

Celebrating the beauty of our relationships is not cancelled, hope is not cancelled, and LOVE is most definitely not cancelled.

This incredible shoot can inspire us for the glorious times to come as LOVE is immune to anything that can be thrown at us.

It also shouts out loud that while our weddings may be postponed for a while the amazing bond that we share that have brung us to this point cannot be shaken.
