Love goes Forth – A Beautiful Scottish Wedding – Images by Mike Cook Photography

Today I am thrilled to share this gorgeous Scottish Wedding of  Briana & Brett, shot at the gorgeous Dundas Castle in  South Queensferry.

Dundas Castle is one of Scotlands most beautiful and historic Castles.

The Castle is an ‘exclusive use’ venue that is booked in its entirety for a wide variety of events – weddings, conferences, business meetings, incentive travel group visits, golfing holidays, private dinner parties, launch parties and receptions.

Its setting is secluded in the peaceful countryside of its own 1000 acre estate approximately 8 miles from Edinburgh.

The Auld Keep of Dundas Castle was built in 1416 for the purpose of being both a home in times of peace and a fortress in times of war.  In 1818 the main house as it is known today was built by the renowned architect William Burn and has belonged to the Stewart-Clark family for the last century or so.

On a grey, chilly and overcast September day Mike Cook Photography captured the Newcastle couples beautiful celebrations.

Whilst based just outside Falkirk, Mike has undertaken photography throughout most of Central Scotland – Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond. He describes his style as relaxed, contemporary and documentary.

Thanks to Mike for sharing his beautiful images. I love the stunning architecture of this amazing Castle and its gorgeous standpoint overlooking the iconic Forth Bridge.
