Today we are going undercover to look at the important issue of Lingerie for your Wedding Night.
The modern bride is very particular about looking picture perfect for her wedding day in front of guests, friends and family, to the extent that bodyshapers and shapewear are becoming more and more popular.
A slight downside to this, although bridal shapewear is great for providing focussed toning and slimming effects to specific areas of the body it still doesn’t carry the romantic tones that many couples picture for the wedding night.
The alternative is to change into something more suited for the first wedding night, and there are plenty of options.
A chemise for the wedding night, or even the honeymoon are great in so many ways.
They can show off your figure as much or as little as little as you want, they may have detachable suspenders to wear with your wedding day stockings or bridal garter for that just married feel.
As well as been relatively inexpensive compared to a bridal bustier they can be very seductive, romantic and set a wonderful mood for that first married night.
Babydolls are a great favourite among brides, especially for honeymoon lingerie, they’re light, very comfortable and again can be as revealing as you wish.
They are also a great plus size lingerie solution, particularly for any brides who are self conscious, ruffled designs & well fitting cups accentuate the breast and make you feel confident, comfortable and very attractive, which is what sexy lingerie is about.
You don’t always have to go with white or ivory on your wedding night, you can always add a bit of colour, after all you should enjoy your lingerie long after your wedding night.
A satin nightdress is great for relaxing in & winding down to spend some quality time with your newlywed.
Frills and Lace
Don’t forget that as well as looking gorgeous and sexy for your new partner, your wedding day, night and honeymoon should be about creating fun memories.
The simple addition of some lace top hold ups with your wedding garter from the day can give that just married feel to your evening.
Although by the wedding night everyone should know already who the bride is!
I’ve added this gown because it’s a fun little dressing gown with accompanying chemise to wear on the wedding morning when getting ready with your bridesmaids, and to carry on that feeling through the next day too.
