Today I am thrilled to be introducing a brand new Sponsor on the Blog, Kim Christofi, founder and CEO of House of Elliot, home of quite simply stunning Wedding boots.
I am delighted to have Kim on board, and I am excited to share with my readership about an new Scottish project launching on 17th July that she is involved in offering more than a little bit of Tartan Flair.
Kim tells us about her company,
Who are you, and what do you do ?
“We are House of Elliot and we provide beautifully hand crafted Wedding Boots and handmade lace Wedding Shoes made using the finest double-sided satin ribbon and sumptuous lace.”
“The lace Wedding boots instantly conjure up images of delicate Edwardian ladies and a time when simply showing a peep of an ankle was considered shocking.”
“Just a hint of lace peeping out from beneath your wedding dress will turn heads and as your groom notices the tantalising mix of innocence and decadence you can be certain his thoughts will be only on you.”
“Crafted in soft leather for comfort and finished in a range of styles from dainty ankle boots to knee high to the ultimate wow factor, over the knee designs, there is a pair to suit you.”
“Also available in black, House of Elliot offer a range of boots which will delight any bride and have her groom falling at her feet.”
“Brides who purchase boots from House of Elliot will also be helping the worthwhile charity Operation Justice Cambodia, as they pledge to donate a percentage of all profits to help build safe houses for children sold into the horrendous sex trafficking trade. You can find out more about the charity and its work by clicking HERE.”
When, and why did you start your business ?
“Sometimes right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale of beautiful lace footwear!”
The romanticism of that look inspired me to go on and develop the range and the House of Elliot brand, and from the number of happy brides I hear from, it shows me it has been worth all of the hard work.”
“House of Elliots first beginnings were around May 2008 and I took it to a serious level and launched the Company November 6th (my birthday) 2009.”
“House of Elliot is not my first Business, I can remember as far back as aged ten offering Saturday Ballet Classes for half a penny, and then when I was around aged twelve, I ran my own car cleaning business – I think I even employed staff, ha ha !
“Born to be a CEO clearly!”
What inspires you ?
“Jesus is what inspires me and Gathering of Champions.”
“G.O.C is my Ministry which is top priority.”
“The Ministry is an outreach ministry touching lives for Jesus in the community, feeding families and putting school shoes on kids feet. Standing in prayer for the broken, sick, lost and hurt. Gathering of Champions runs a Nurture Course which is designed to empower the believer to be all what God has destined them to be – motivated and reaching out to people, sadly we just dont witness that in the body of Christ, they have become the nod to God crowd securing their pew and not doing much to touch lives around them.”
“House of Elliot is pivotal to Gathering of Champions and lives are impacted by it financially by supporting organisations like XP Media, feed the hungry, mercy ministries….the list is endless to be honest.”
Whats your greatest achievement ?
“As well as starting House of Elliot and making it a success.
1.Starring in the Film Chariots of Fire aged nineteen
2.Giving birth to my beautiful son named Elliot who is 23 on the 23rd july.
3.Standing as Candidate for the Christian Party in 2010.”
Whats the future for your Business ?
“To go Global, to be a recognised brand, to be able to touch as many lives as possible with the proceeds, to secure Exclusive Contracts Globally, and to connect strongly with Scotland.”
“We would love to welcome more Drop Shippers on board, work closely with Stockists and encourage them to share in the vision – for every sale, 5% is donated to XP Media.”
“We would like to shout about the work that we do and that being involved one way or another is touching a life somewhere. There is a much bigger vision behind the Wedding boots!”
“Another exciting project we have in the offing is a fabulous shoot happening very soon featuring our Wedding Boots.”
“The shoot is taking place in Edinburgh and Claire Watson is project managing and photographing it and doing a super job finding models, location, hats props etc…. so we applaud her contribution.”
“Its also been a real priviledge working with Lorna Tate who is making a gown and although we have never met either of these women, we know we are in good hands.”
“We are just thrilled to be launching this Scottish project not just because we are offering something a little quirky but because our Stockist in America are waiting anxiously for the outcome of the shoot!”
“We secured an Exclusive with Advantage Bridal in May this year and they are very excited about the shoot. Already we have had an enquiry about the dress that lorna is making from California. They are ready at the starting blocks.”
