A beautiful rustically inspired Couples Shoot at the historical Ponden Mill

Today I am thrilled to share this beautiful rustically inspired Couples Shoot at the restored historical site of Ponden Mill in Yorkshire.

Georgia & Ben were supposed to marry this year but then Covid, however their love is strong and they wanted to celebrate what is still to come when they marry next year with a a little bit of a photographic practice run, alongside their canine bestie.

Images were captured by Jules Fortune Photography.

Jules says of the shoot…

The venue for the shoot was Ponden Mill, a super cool wedding venue set in the rolling hills of Haworth, South Yorkshire which is opening for business in 2021.

The area is steeped in Bronte Sisters history, and has been lovingly restored by the owners Barbara & Richard .

They have teamed up with the cool catering team ‘Outside Kitchen’, who also help run and over see the wedding side of the business.

On the outside, it looks and feels like a traditional mill but inside its a cool, quirky & chic interior.

You can get married indoors or outdoors, and the venue  can hold up to 150 guests.

The Mill also has the added extra of the stunning & unique Falling Water overnight accommodation for bride & Groom.

Falling Water was styled on the Frank Lloyd Wright building of the same name, looking to create something that embraced and blended with its surroundings.

The couple had booked me to photograph their wedding this year, however Global Pandemic so they are now getting married at the venue in September 2021.

Curious to find out more about the venue I arranged for myself and a bunch of talented wedding creatives to do a gorgeous rustically inspired Couples Shoot using Georgia & Ben & their cute little dog Chicco.

I love using real couples for these fun shoots, keeping the images as real and natural as possible as with some styled shoots they can look a little fake through lack of connection giving couples no real idea how there wedding photography will look!.

We are not all models, and most couples don’t want to look moody and overly sexy on photo. Just happy and relaxed!

Little Chicco was the star of the show however and could possibly be making an appearance on the actual wedding too!
