Today I am thrilled to share this breathtaking and intimate Catalonian Bridal Shoot.
Eva of Marie Marry Me says of the shoot…
We wanted to do something in the Empordan area, a land full of crystal-clear waters, and wild routes full of sandflowers, such a paradisiacal place!
We were very lucky to meet Laura and Pau, a lovely couple that lived in the region who were our models.
They were a little shy at the beginning, but as soon as they started to feel more relaxed and opened with all the team, they melted our hearts with their love in this charming village in the north of Catalonia: Pals.
Pals is a medieval town in Catalonia, northern Spain a few kilometres from the sea in the heart of the Bay of Emporda on the Costa Brava.
Pals has a historic centre on a hill surrounded by plains with a medieval Romanesque tower built between the 11th and 13th centuries.
The Gothic Quarter of the town has been substantially restored and there are cobbled streets interrupted by semicircular arches, façades with pointed arched windows and stone balconies which was a charming setting for breathtaking imagery..
The Designer Anna Campbell sent us one of their breathtaking designs: Chloé, a gown made with delicate fabrics, crystal gemstones and precious elements.
Vintage Old Hollywood meets classic Anna Campbell glamour inspires this stunning gown with fine, hand-beaded shoulder loops, a sexy, sweetheart open neckline and mega-watt sparkle, for an unforgettable bridal moment!
It was perfect for Laura who looked gorgeous wearing it, rendering her boyfriend speechless the first time he saw her…
The minimalist and geometrical designs of Ida Mari were the perfect accessory for Laura wearing a pair of tiny silver earrings, and a delicate necklace of the same collection.
Susana Puigsegur, the stylist, emphasised Lauras natural beauty, without any artifices, and chose soft waves for her hair and natural makeup..
Tina & Doruk, from Lovelenscapes Photography subtly led the shoot, leaving the couple to freely pose, making them feel relaxed and comfortable.
We, as Marie Marry Me love working with Tina and Doruk, and we became a great team, because we have similar ways to work, with a passion for capturing natural light, and the spontaneity of the moment.
From the very first moment we were a single team with one goal: to capture the essence of this lovely couple and keep the memories of this special day from a smile of complicity to a shy loving caress…
The afternoon was perfect: filtered sunlight, and a few tourists, it was very quiet.
Nevertheless, the people we met had nice words and warm wishes for the couple that made Laura blush and smile.
They were so cute together!
As time passed, we went to the beach to enjoy the sunset there, the views were spectacular!
The team of Flors de Vici carefully prepared an exquisite bouquet for Laura of roses, daises and other fresh blooms in a palette of burgundy, soft pink and blush, with a matching boutonniere for Pau.
The weather and the light were perfect and as soon as everything was ready, the couple climbed up the rocks very carefully.
We encouraged the couple to move forward to the end of the biggest rock, where we had installed a circle of white daisies.
Alone at the top of the rocks, swaying with the sound of the waves of the sea, the couple shared some quiet intimate moments and we squeezed the sunlight until its last beam, and to the tenderness of their last kiss.
We left this stunning spot, leaving the memories of that afternoon there, and the flower petals fluttering in the breeze becoming one with the sea, the rocks and sand.
