A breathtaking & lavish Marie Antoinette inspired styled shoot that channels French Royalty

Opulence reigns in this breathtaking, and lavish Marie Antoinette inspired styled shoot that truly channels French Royalty.

Known to adore pastel colors and Rococo, an artistic style especially of the 18th century characterized by fanciful curved asymmetrical forms and elaborate ornamentation, Marie Antoinette became a leader of French fashion, and was quite the spender on parties,  her attire and luxuries despite the hardships of the French Revolution.

The shoot explores her love of the lavish with a cavalcade of pink hues accented by luxurious gold.

Images were  beautifully captured by Photography By Krishanthi featuring the work of a talented creative team.

The shoot was inspired by the pink wedding dress by Ian Stuart that Kevin the stylist saw at a wedding show.

He felt the pink frothy tulle will be something a modern day Marie Antoinette would wear.

He approached florist Paula Rooney and Elizabeth of Elizabeths Cake Emporium with the idea, and they decided that a pink ombre effect with hints of gold will bring contemporary touch to the shoot, whilst retaining the opulence of Marie Antoinette.

Paula created an ombre effect floral arrangement using masses of roses, on the table which I mirrored with the cupcakes running alongside it.

The mirrored cake table by Elizabeths Cake Emporium featured an ombre effect luxury wedding cake with sugar roses, baroque style luxury wedding cake, cupcakes, cake pops and meringue kisses.

She also created a pearl wedding cake with large sugar peonies which was surrounded by pink ombre sugar peony cupcakes.

To go with the dress, the hair was styled in a modern bouffant by Kasia Fortuna with bold make up by Amanda White.

Simple pearl earrings and a three strand pearl necklace were all l that was needed to accessorise.

A beautiful bouquet with a mixture of pastel roses finished off the look.

The tablescape was stunning with stationery created by Intricate Creations complimented with linens by Over the Top Rentals, tableware by Couvert and furniture by Great Hire.

Thanks so much to  the amazing collaborative team for sharing this incredible Marie Antoinette inspired styled shoot.

It bring a fresh. modern and luxurious slant to styling a theme inspired by the past.
