Today I am thrilled to share this stunning contemporary & avante garde outdoor wedding breakfast focused shoot inspired by the beauty of nature.
Embracing the wonder of the outdoors mixes things up and is an exciting alternative to tradition.
Images were captured by TP Photography with styling by Tasha Mae Events with the collaboration of a fabulous creative team.
Natasha Gilchrist of Tasha-Mae says of the shoot…
At a meeting at Sunninghill Weddings Jacky, the venue manager mentioned that she would like to host a shoot to show off their grounds.
Having not organised a wedding photoshoot before Jacky asked if I would be interested in helping one together.
As an ‘On the Day’ wedding co-ordinator the majority of the weddings I co-ordinate are outside so I am always keen to show couples what they can create with an outside space.
Jacky’s brief was to create a contemporary outdoor wedding breakfast to show couples that when you book Sunninghill you don’t have to do the norm, there are lots of options.
With this in mind we got in contact with an extremely talented team of wedding suppliers and went all avant-garde!
Breaking away from tradition we decided to position the head table in the centre to create an aerial view of a flower with six rectangular tables coming off to depict the petals.
Styling it this way means the newly married couple are surrounded by their friends and family making it far more intimate than the typical head table layout.
Our colour choice of blush pink and sage green was combined with freshly picked seasonal flowers grown and arranged by Sue from Old Chapel Flowers.
Jacky was keen to showcase how Sue’s ethos of ‘Fresh from the Field’ can bring something that little more special and meaningful to the table.
By using luxury linens, glassware and crockery with the contrasting copper cutlery it brought elegance to our wedding breakfast especially with an outdoor piano being played alongside the table set-up on the lawn.
It wouldn’t be an outdoor wedding breakfast if we hadn’t incorporated its natural surroundings.
With the beautiful old walnut tree this made an amazing feature to hang the upside down wedding cake from.
Wondering how else we could make good use of the trees the big tree trunk at the entrance of the lawn was the perfect place to hang the individually framed seating plans.
This proves that sometimes you don’t need to look that far when sourcing props as they may be right in front of you!
With so many outside areas to photograph we were spoilt for choice.
With the beautiful lawn, the shepherds hut, tennis court, woodland area and swimming pool what’s not to like about having your wedding at Sunninghill!
