A Glamorous Boho inspired bridal shoot at Langar Hall with vibrant yellow details

Today I am thrilled to share this glamorous Boho inspired bridal shoot at Langar Hall with vibrant yellow details for the free spirited modern bride.

Images were captured by Sarah Louise Illingworth of Mirror Imaging Photography alongside the creativity of a fabulous creative team…

Sarah says of the day…

Back in 2018 Adele at a CW Campervans telephoned and requested some photographs of their newly refurbished convertible ivory VW Beetle (named ‘Daisy’), that they would be hiring out for weddings as part of their VW fleet.

To bring the car to life, we decided to incorporate a colourful boho inspired bridal shoot. .

I gave some thought as to the sort of bride who might want to hire an ivory convertible beetle with ivory leather interior: bohemian, glamorous, independent-minded, feminine.

Iconic Bride bridal boutique suggested open guipure lace designs from Watters Wtoo that embodied this vibe.

I made a mood board playing up to the spring season with golden yellows.

The vision in my head was of a bride sat in the driving seat, dressed in lace, flower crown, with unapologetically bold boho jewellery.

Sassy Blooms helped bring the vision to life with her interpretation of the brief: an abundance of floral loveliness in yellow and gold tones, using the finest stems of David Austin roses and freesia, mixed in with daisies and plentiful country foliage.

And a showstopping floral garland for the car bonnet.

Keishi Jewellery are an independent, artisan jewellers in Nottingham, and their jewellery incorporates gold, gems, silk tassels and freshwater pearls.

All their beautiful, unique and on-trend pieces epitomised the spirit of the photoshoot and also gave it a more fashion-forward feel.

Talented Adele Coxon made our models picture perfect in super fast time, creating a bolder second look for each model that was reminiscent of old-Hollywood.

As for our venue? The renowned Langar Hall, with its golden facade, mature gardens and touches of Paul Smith fabric in the interior, fit the bill perfectly.

I wanted to create bridal looks that were that little bit different, something to inspire brides-to-be and showcase the talents of those involved.

The emphasis for everyone was on the glamorous – nothing shabby chic – but with a definite festival-nod to the free-spirited bride.
