Today I am thrilled to share a gorgeous Cocktail Party inspired bridal shoot with coral and gold elements and an air of timeless style.
Many couples are getting married later, or for a second or third time, and with a more mature couple often comes a completely different brief and look for their wedding day.
With this inspiration styled shoot the team wanted to portray a glamorous yet slightly older bride (mid 40’s) who looks fabulous and who chooses to celebrate in an elegant evening with her partner, friends and family.
Images were captured by Kim Williams Weddings with co-ordination by Bespoke and Beyond Events.
Kim says of this stunning bridal shoot…
Our Bride may be a little “more birthdayed” but as I have said so many times recently I feel that love has no limit and its really important that the wedding media and society see that.
The print and online media obsess that beauty is found only in the young, and that is really visible in coverage of real weddings, styled shoots and bridal gown campaigns.
Who is to judge what age that is anyway, you are as young as you feel and for some we are the immortal teenager.
However with life comes experience, and sometimes much more clarity about what you really want.
Whether you are in your 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and beyond and whether experiencing love for the first time or second time around, ALL love should be celebrated, AND represented which its mainly not, and I find that sad and incredibly frustrating.
The picturesque setting for this bridal shoot was the beautiful Long Furlong Barn in West Sussex.
Dressed with elegant draping and tons of sparkly lighting, this was an evening cocktail party inspired reception styled using gorgeous tones of coral and gold, also making use of the gorgeous courtyard space at the barn for some bridal portraits.
The drinks and table decor were also inspired by a love of gin with delicious raspberry gin cocktails being served along side bubbles and canapes.
The bride looks stunning in her own gown from ASOS accessorised with delicate hair pins, along with a bouquet of seasonal English flowers in corals, pinks and cream to compliment the theme.
Thanks so much to the team for bringing together this elegant bridal shoot and sharing their amazing creativity.
