Today I am thrilled to share this stunning Winter Wedding wonderland shoot held at Deer Park Country House Hotel.
The hotels is a beautiful boutique hotel / 18th Century Georgian mansion with 80 acres of glorious grounds, a pretty Italian garden and tree house! It is the epitome of a quintessentially English Country House.
This shoot is a combination of a luxury winter wonderland with a hint of silver, fluffy cotton candy, and geode crystals combined with a warm relaxed autumn wonderland with a hint of rustic silver, grey with a abundance of autumn green florals.
Images and styling are by Amber at Liberty Pearl Photography.
Amber of Liberty Pearl Photography says…
“I have always wanted to build my autumn and winter wedding portfolio and when the venue contacted me to ask me whether I would like to shoot a winter shoot in their beautiful boutique hotel I couldn’t resist!”
“I absolutely love simple elegantly styled weddings with a hint of the unconventional, so we went for a luxe winter wedding wonderland theme with a collection of stunning contemporary bridal gowns from Ellis Bridals 2017 collection and then a muted silver sequin dress from Phase Eight to inspire brides who want something different.”
“Bloom and Flourish the florist is always very creative and loves using local and seasonal plants for her floral creations.”
“The inspiration for the flowers: “the cone shaped small bouquet I thought of being held by the Snow Queen in the Narnia series.”
The flower crown and bouquet with hydrangea are celebrating the colours and wildness of the English Autumn.”
“Jenny from Edible Essence has always wanted to design and make a geode cake so when she approached me with her design I couldn’t wait to see her design come to life.”
“My inspiration for the cake and dessert table was inspired by the beautiful agate and geode themed bridal stationery which ties in with the winter silver wedding.”
“I have always wanted to make marble macarons which tied in with the winter silver wedding using earthy natural rock elements.”
“We commissioned the creative team at Hip Hip Hooray to create a geode and agate collection of wedding stationery to tie in with the cake design from Edible Essence, using the white, grey and silver colour scheme, and the results are just superb!”
“The designs are so beautiful, elegant, and unique and printed on their luxury pearlescent card.”
“Shoes are very important to brides, and to me they add so much to any wedding dress, so I used the beautiful new collection from Emmy London.”
“Emmy London is a luxury shoe and accessories brand that encompasses undeniable beauty, bespoke craftsmanship and the quintessentially British style.”
“From beautiful wedding shoes to chic courts and show-stopping party shoes the brand epitomises feminine, elegant and sublimely comfortable design.”
“We wanted to hair and make up to look natural and very beautiful.”
“It’s hard to find a make up artist who enhances a model or brides natural beauty but Genevieve Satha achieved this effortlessly and models looked radiant all day long.”
“Katie looked great with a touch of smoky eyed glamour and Abigail fashioned a more natural pared down look.”
“Kyrelle from Devon wedding hair specialises in alternative bohemian weddings and festival hair.”
“The models have very different hair so Abigail’ short hair was put up to make a feature of her bridal accessory head band from the lucky sixpence, and Katie’s beautiful long hair was transformed into a trendy festival style loose plait.”
“Abigail wore a stunning winter headband which was a bespoke design by The Lucky Sixpence – Vintage headbands, combs and jewellery, who specialise in bespoke hair adornment and jewellery making service which allows you to wear unique accessories tailored to the look of your wedding.”
“The snow machine from Pro Sound And Light was just awesome and I would recommend it for any winter wedding, it was so much fun for the photographers and the models!”
“We wanted the groom dressed in a modern slim fit suit in grey that was very understated and Jonathan Hawkes had the perfect selection of suits to choose from.”
“We wanted to inject some fun into the shoot so we hired beautiful velvet chairs, a giant silver picture frame from the Prop Factory which were perfect for the shoot.”
“The Prop Factory supplies rustic decoration, candelabras, fairground games, gramophones and a wide range of vintage accessories and props for weddings.”
“To complement the stationery and cake designs and to decorate the dinner table set up we scattered beautiful geode crystals from Phoenix Wings Crystals and they look just WOW!”
“I started my workshop series because I wanted to help wedding photographers from a range of backgrounds build their winter wedding portfolio and help them get their work published on top wedding blogs and magazines and this is exactly what we achieved and more! I am so pleased with the results!”
“I am planning another workshop in March in Cornwall in a beautiful country house but this time it is next to the Ocean, so we are planning a trash the dress shoot a long with a few other exciting surprises!”
“Visit my website for further info on workshops.”
