Today I am thrilled share this Peaky Blinders inspired Wedding styled shoot.
A incredible collaborative team have come together to create gangster glamour at its very best with a nod to the iconic show.
With dapper cutting edge style, the images grip you and draw you in with a piercing allure.
Images were captured by Jonny A Photography and styling by Claire of Creative Creations Weddings & Events.
Claire says of the shoot…
A crazy idea came to mind back in March when a very talented Somerset florist Becky, put up a picture of a gorgeous yet industrial looking venue and a fab ‘GIN’ horse box on a group I was in.
I knew I wanted to be part of this shoot and thankfully Becky loved my idea of a Peaky Blinders theme!
I wanted this to be a quirky shoot and capture the 1920’s – 30s feel using a mixture of the moodiness from the peaky blinders yet a luxurious feel with adding the beautiful shade of pinks.
This was achieved using a selection of my venue styling props and sourcing some wonderful furniture from The Prop Factory.
Becky wanted the flowers to fit in and contrast with the dark and moody “blinders” sepia tones.
Her thoughts were a a cerise colour would be a vivid, but not too bright colour to go with the greys and dark colours for clothing and on the Gin Bar.
The bouquet itself was based on an Edwardian/boho vibe providing a dramatic statement to enhance the vibe of the shoot.
The vases on the wonderful furniture provided pops of colour to match with the bouquet and bright sofa.
The overall look was black, and cerise with with a hint of gold.
The first dress was chosen for its 1930s vibe and the second for its hint at history in its style, with a pinkish tinge to it.
The icing on the cake, was all the absolutely wonderful, creative suppliers who managed to turn a crazy vision into something magical.
