Today I am delighted to share this pretty Rose Gold themed bridal shoot at Clovelly inspired with special purpose.
The beautiful village of Clovelly makes the most romantic venue for a wedding in North Devon.
This enchanting village has a timeless beauty from wooded cliffs far above the old harbour, a cobbled street winds down to the sea past cottages bedecked with bright flowers.
Images were captured by Nick Pearce Photography, assisted by Tim Lamerton, and a lovely collaborative team.
Em Long of Clovelly tells us about the inspiration behind the shoot…
“The Wishing Well Foundation is a charity that is close to our hearts, we came across the charity as a bride that married in Clovelly was diagnosed with cancer and she asked if we would consider supporting them.”
“With that in mind our wedding fair on April 2nd 2017 will support the Wishing Well foundation.”
“it is a great opportunity to visit Clovelly, and see what we do but to also support such a worthwhile charity that is very important to us.”
“To spotlight on the show and the amazing suppliers in the area I felt that Clovelly could provide an amazing backdrop to create a unique shoot.”
“With four licensed venues we are able to provide a venue to cater for all, from clifftop summer house to a harbour side cobbled beach.”
“Nick Pearce Photography were the first to come on board, an experienced photographer that has shot many weddings in Clovelly, then we approached other suppliers.”
“It is important that we support local suppliers, Ambience Devon styled the Red Lion restaurant focusing on rose gold and incorporating the beautiful stationery designed by Hey Jules, and glamorous glassware from the Glitter Emporium.”
“Award winning Cake designer Claire’s Sweet Temptations provided a rose gold themed cake, that complimented Ambience styling.”
“As well as the stationery Hey Jules provided hair accessories and jewellery that complimented the two dresses perfectly.”
“The 60’s tea dress supplied by La Boutique from the Wishing Well Foundation, and the Rose Gold dress from Always and Forever Bridal of Bideford is a unique dress, exclusive to them.”
“The flowers were created in paper by Somerset Flowers, Jans amazing skill in creating flowers that are so realistic were one of the features of the shoot, specifically designed for the day.”
“Colorseum provided stylists for both hair and make up, and under the pressures of time and the challenges Clovelly can create with north easterly wind and cobbled streets, they excelled.”
“Nick Pearce along with Tim Lamerton has captured our unique wedding venue perfectly, creating images for the charity and all suppliers involved.”
